Well the UP response is rather disappointing, but I'll respect it. I didn't hear much from UGT though. We're a smaller group and don't cause much trouble, relatively speaking.

So what say you? If you are against UGT wide mod powers, then please recommend who you would want for a new mod and let's have a couple more.

I'm already thinking Cherub Cow for certain.

I will promise to make the forums a wasteland!! I will level Utopia into digital ash and only permit threads that have to do with post-apocalyptic role-playing in the third person limited perspective where to be permitted all participants must create an imagined, survivalist version of themselves!! ;D

Actually I would definitely be 100% boring (only deleting blatant spam attacks, which never even happen anymore?), but as for the UP thread... not too sure that *everyone* should have the mod power. I'm all for total anarchy (be sure to PURGE this weekend! Blessed be our New Founding Fathers!), but like murder sort of mentioned: without accountability for who deletes things, it could get ugly, especially when UP debates start spiraling.

But! Let's try it!! :D :D (Everyone getting mod powers) — maybe we'd only confirm our suspicions, but that could make for a fun [week?] :D

The caveat is that no known trolls would have this ability, and cthulhu is in UP, which already rejected this idea. He's a non issue.

CC, no I'm not really sick. I just hate the idea of forum mods creating a false sense of heirarchy. This is actually not the first time I've proposed this idea. I first suggested it when we were deciding on mods when Turtle Crawler moved us all here.

Sadly most of us are responsible adults...I doubt there'd much chaos apart from the occasional Drunken riot. I for one would promise to my usual inactive self. But yeah CC could rule with an iron fist!
