SC almost beat you in regular season before Newton had really found his stride. Were it not for back to back 4th quarter fumbles by Garcia, they would have. Alabama almost beat you, UNC came within 6 points without any starters...heck, even the Les Miles 2010 crazy train came within a touchdown.

Auburn will be third in the SEC West and not a contender this year. You just can't fill a Can Newton sized hole and without him you would have been at least a 3 conference loss team last year.

It should be an interesting year. I think SC may repeat in the east but I wouldn't give us odds over the best Sec west team. The East was pretty pitiful last year...

Ok Auburn does have talent, but they lack experience.

And whoever the defensive coordinator is needs to be fired.....immediately.

Auburn's defense was terrible this year, and the the only reason they didn't lose was because of Cam Newton.

Auburn will not be able to rely solely on their offense this year.

Auburn's best player might be the kicker....3 kicks out the endzone, impressive.

Close game. Came down to inches and seconds. That Dan Mullen chose to run the ball vs try to pass and wring 2 plays out of those 7 seconds is questionable in hindsight, 20/20, etc

Miss State impressed overall. They strike me as better than they have been in quite a few years. Too bad they have to deal with Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas year in and year out.

I don't get it.....Vick Ballard (Miss. State RB) jumps 8 feet in the air towards the endzone, and Dan Mullen doesn't give it to him for the last play?

Relf should have stretched out instead of tucking it. He would have had it if he did.

Poor play call if you ask me.

I have to say though, as much as I dislike Auburn, that team has heart, unlike some of their fairweather fans.
