Trump bans several media outlets US President Donald Trump is banning the media outlets CNN, MSNBC, and Politico from the White House "with immediate effect," he announced on Truth Social. Donald Trump accuses the media outlets of "constantly reporting fake news." "Media outlets should not be able to constantly write and report fiction and lies when reporting on the US President, the Trump administration, or the United States," he writes on the Truth Social platform. He also warns that more media outlets will be banned in the future. The President has repeatedly criticized media outlets and individual reporters for coverage he deems biased, and has at times even taken legal action. Previously, AP journalists, among others, were barred from the Oval Office and the presidential aircraft Air Force One after the news agency refused to change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America in its reporting. I said it at the time that Biden was setting some really bad precedents...and here we are.

When asked about the legal obstacles this policy would inevitably run into, President Joe Biden admitted that what his administration is doing is illegal, but he said he doesn’t care. “Constitutionally, the bulk of the constitutional scholarship says that it’s not likely to pass constitutional muster,” Biden admitted during a press conference on Tuesday. He continued, “At a minimum, by the time it is litigated, we’ll probably give some additional time while we’re getting that $45 billion out to people who are, in fact, behind in the rent and don’t have the money.” In other words, Biden knows that the CDC is acting illegally but wants the agency to continue to act illegally until the courts can get around to stopping it. Litigation takes time, which means the moratorium could be in effect for weeks, maybe even months, before it is struck down. And even when it is declared unconstitutional, there is no way to go back and force renters to pay the money they owed when the moratorium was in place, even if the moratorium itself was illegal. ---- never any actual punishment, no talk of impeachment despite CONSTANT lawlessness, why should he stop...our system is broken

Rugian rank	Sun Sep 20 15:30:03 I've always wondered how you managed to somehow ignore the thousands of posts on here that highlighted all of the bad shit that Biden's administration pulled during his time in office. I've narrowed it down to you either just didn't read any of the negative stuff or it's some sort of weird cognitive dissonance. I can at least admit that Trump does a lot of really bad shit that is harmful in the short term and corrosive to our system of government in the long term. It's a shame I can't get the reciprocal from you.
jergul rank	Sun Sep 20 16:25:58 Ruggy Every US administration does thousands of bad shit things. The special thing about Trump rotates around undermining mechanisms and turning the US into a full-blown kleptocratic oligarchy. We have not seen his like since Yeltsin.
