Utopia Talk / Politics / Iceland rejects the EU

Paramount
rank | Sun Aug 30 17:45:38 Icelandic voters reject a proposal to restart negotiations to join the European Union https://ap...9f8d4e140894fe22db17005e9c2a2e I don’t get it. Doesn’t everyone want to join the EU and be ruled by corrupt elite in Brussels? Did Putin influence the referendum in Iceland??? We know that Putin wants to conquer the world. |

rank | Tue Sep 01 15:42:23 Not to worry. When the US conquers Iceland, we will completely transform the local economy by building data centers from coast to coast. Fishing will be a quaint pasttime by comparison. |

rank | Wed Sep 02 00:28:17 Murder/Jergul, The tech exists, it's not perfected clearly. I think it's more the economics that will change it in the next decade. I think a similar comparison would be internet technology 30 years ago. AI seems to be advancing faster. Fable 5.1 dropped today. |

rank | Wed Sep 02 14:36:16 Factually, it would be way easier to do the navy. It is way more procedural and could concievably create stable state operating conditions. |

rank | Wed Sep 02 18:27:14 Your low skill job is what AI is good at. Too many moving parts for too long in deep sea fishing. |
