So that invalidates the treaty, and will lead the commission to ban US tech giants processing personal data in the US. Should be a fun one to game out. The US is so dysfunctional.

So they aren't free speech platforms, they are surveillance advertising and election interference platforms. Imagine how stupid it would be to let companies that have a track record of being influenced by their government, now directly under that govts direction, with that govt actively publishing its intent to influence our political systems and elections, be able to gather detailed personal information on the entire population.

All that's happened is the US regressing to second world status like Russia and China when it comes to institutional and legal development. It can't expect to be treated different to those countries if it models itself on them.
