Ive been picking ripe blackberries since early June this year, here in Provence, France. I've never seen that before in my entire life. Thats an autumn/late summer berry. Thats like 6 - 8 weeks out of season.

Thanks conservatives for bringing us to the brink of both WWIII and climate extinction simultaneously.

This is of course not correct, with the exception of blackberries being a late summer berry. You were probably in one of your mental modes and confused a strawberry with a blackberry. Possibly dreamed it.

I guess it's possible you mistook a black raspberry for a blackberry, which while totally wrong would at least be forgivable for a newb.

Growing berries is difficult here.

But I am already enjoyjng cucumbers, with tomatoes, squash, peppers, corn, and potatoes to follow. The latter is a pleasant experiment from a late bag of bloomers chucked in a pile of compost with some sprinkled water
