Not to mention all the supply vehicles... this would be a logistical effort in the face of the enemy that no country on earth except maybe China could even contemplate. This is beyond the range of 152mm tubes and way beyond the range of remote controlled drones. Irans most obvious move would be to fire grads at maximum possible range from within the city, using the standard muslim tactic of human shields, resupplying the force disguised as food trucks and ambulances, hamas/Hezbollah style. Such limited and distant fire(and obviously we would still bomb many of those vehicles even inside the city) would have no chance of significantly disrupting a marine regiment.
