Where the fuck is the US supposed to stage troops for the invasion? No we're not sending in ground forces. No there isn't going to be any military draft. -

Imagine two effimate men slapping each other with open hands at the very edge of their reach. That is what is happening. Hence the relatively few attacks as supplies of stand-off munitions and unmanned aircraft are burned through.
