President Biden was born closer to President Lincoln's inauguration than his own. A friend sent the below to me and I'm assuming the math is correct.

"Lincoln's 2nd inauguration was March 4, 1865. Joe Biden was born on November 20, 1942. Doing the math, there are 28384 days, or 77 years, 8 months, and 16 days, between 3/4/1865 and 11/20/1942.

Joe Biden's inauguration as January 20, 2021. There were 28551 days, or 78 years and 2 months, between 11/20/1942 and 1/20/2021."

I don't vote in primaries because I am not in a party. In Colorado I could choose which primary to vote in but I think it should be the parties decision who they want running.

I was leaning that direction anyway but while in Texas Democrats would register as Republicans in the primaries to try and get the worst candidates running in the general. All that happened was the worst Republican often won.
Seeing that I decided it would be best if each party just do their own thing instead of trying to fuck with each other.
So I stay out of their business.

As long as the alternative is an equally old ass (ignoring all his other vile behaviors) Trump - I'd choose Biden again.

Sure would be nice if out of the 300 million Americans someone actually younger, stoic, and competent would show up and take the lead.

I doubt that the money people financing both Parties will allow anyone other than their choice to run.

If it comes down to it, I would vote for an ashtray before I would vote for Trump or DeSantis.

I Just wish Biden would find a more exciting and dynamic running mate.

Fucking right-wingers always project. There's never been any real evidence of this whereas shitheads like Rush Limbaugh were literally telling their followers to sabotage Democratic primaries in 2008 so that Hillary and Obama could keep fighting each other.

It was an open grass roots campaign effort in the early 2000s. Some groups even ran radio ads and had web pages that suggested which candidates were most vulnerable.
I was living in Denton TX at the time and worked with a lot of very liberal individuals. They weren't shy about discussing all kinds of tactics.

Another was to spend as much time in the voting booth as possible to make the lines extra long in predominately Republican neighborhoods. The hope being they would all just go home.

In Colorado ACORN was searching the phone book for addresses in predominately Republican neighborhoods then submitting change of address cards on voter registration cards. The hope being the voter targeted wouldn't bother jumping through all the hoops when their address didn't match the card address.
ACORN was fined and told they could no longer operate inside Colorado.

Back to primaries though. I think there should be a cutoff date where you can switch parties or register so we can get back to letting parties decide for themselves who they want to represent them.
Nothing we can do about the outrageous spending we saw from the left trying to influence the other parties primaries but it is an underhanded tool the left uses constantly.

With people jumping parties or registering independent then voting primary they vote for the really runny maggot infested turd at the bottom of the heap.
