I have heard that many places in the US have some kind if catch and release program.

In Canada they even have a special equity program or something for minorities, where you get to explain how your crime and life path was the result of oppressions by white people and have a reduced sentence :-)

I'm surprised that habebe is so angry about it, as he also suffers from drug abuse like this guy, he should show more compassion.

Sounds good? The guy has severe mental health issues, but recently it has become cool in demonrat cities to just let these people roam around, as homeless drug addicted vagrants.

Daemon is a primary example of a useful idiot. No one was hurt despite the intent being clear to harm someone. Despite this individual having clear violent impulses. Despite this individual having obvious mental health issues. Let's release him and trust he will voluntarily go to therapy for 18 months or else he will go to jail! Or he will finally do someone serious harm and go to jail. But daemon, the useful idiot, would rather virtue signal than do everything within the legal system to protect the innocent and law-abiding citizens.
