rank | Mon Nov 15 03:27:58 2021 As in, I am full on Pfizer vaccinated 6 months ago. Got the "back to work a few days a week" order. Caught that shit somewhere at work week 1 lol. Only felt particularly "I can't function right" bad for around the first 2 days. Since then it's been me sitting my ass around feeling normal except for an unrelenting cough. I'm on day 6 of it now. All other active symptoms are long gone, but this cough can kiss my ass. secondary symptoms lingering are the loss of smell/taste (they are back maybe 30% from 0 couple days ago). Feeling like heart is weak at pumping under any exertion at all. Walking slowly up my stairs feels like I just sprinted up 2-3 flights of stairs. I can tell an improvement on this front as well in the last couple of days. I'm still very glad I was vaccinated - I'm moderately sure my physiology would have been prone to covid pneumonia given how aggravating the cough has been. Thought some of you might be interested in real world experience, and just a confirmation that, yes, vaccinated people can and will catch it. And that yes, being vaccinated does blunt the harshness of the infection. |

rank | Mon Nov 15 07:19:34 2021 What Murder said. I've had a touch of RSV thats been lingering for like 3 weeks with me and my neighbors. My neice brought it home from school. We were tested and it's verified it was RSV amd not covid. But damn it just womt go away 100%. |

rank | Tue Nov 16 18:53:23 2021 I assume they figure that the vaccines we have work "well enough". It's just a matter of time though before they will have to make a new one. Huge portions of the world are unvaccinated and the virus won't stop mutating. We got lucky that covid-19 wasn't even deadlier. Then again if it was we could power our cities by burning the dead. There's always a silver lining if you look for it. |
