"Stephen K. Bannon was indicted today by a federal grand jury on two counts of contempt of Congress stemming from his failure to comply with a subpoena issued by the House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol"

as completely expected in a lawful society

Well at least we are calling it a breach now instead of an insurrection. That is a tiny step in the right direction.
They need to drop the conspiracy shit and just prosecute the people that entered the capital by force.
Bannon wasn't one of the people that rioted at the capital building so he and anything he has to say is irrelevant to that event. Congress is just doing another stupid investigation because they need to detract from how piss poor a job they are really doing.
They are still as delusional as tumbleweed and are still willing to blame everything including their own flatulence on former President Trump.
They have nothing to run on in 2022 so they are trying to keep Trump in the news so they can run against him. It is a stupid stupid strategy and is going to bite them on the ass hard.

Bannon (said on Jan 5th):

“Now we’re on, as they say, the point of attack — the point of attack tomorrow”

“all hell is going to break loose tomorrow”

“It’s not going to happen like you think it’s going to happen. It’s going to be extraordinarily different. And all I can say is: Strap in.”

he said that giddily, he's excited about a peaceful protest? how is that 'not going to happen how you think it will happen', how will it be extraordinarily different? 'strap in'... for people marching with signs?

it's certainly worth wanting to know what the criminal knew (not that the criminal will talk)

plus Bannon was one of the conspirators holed up in the Willard hotel all trying to overthrow democracy, it wasn't just Trump tweeting & yelling of mass fraud & that Pence should stop it, they had a whole plan & people working on it to the end

"They need to drop the conspiracy shit and just prosecute the people that entered the capital by force."

They didn't enter the Capitol by force. They entered the Capitol by force to stop the transition of power. They entered the Capitol by force to make Donald Trump dictator of the United States.

Every single one of them should get their necks stretched and be left hanging in public until their bodies are picked clean by birds and insects.

Tucker: “Joe Biden’s justice department has just announced it will be indicting a political enemy”

Bannon completely ignored a lawful subpoena on grounds that can’t possibly apply to all the issues (and unlikely to apply to any)

failing to indict would have made subpoenas meaningless

(yet 202 House Rs voted against indicting... the loyal cult)

Not according to the investigation. The investigation found there was little if any organization among the people that entered.

So long as they do the same to everybody that laid siege to the federal building in Portland I'm good with that.
Actually not but people from both attacks should face the penalties allowed by law. The attacks were the same.

just when I thought we could begin to fathom the depth of your delusions you dive deeper into your own reality. Amazing really.

"as completely expected in a lawful society"

Wonder if that transition will hold. I'm used to people ignoring subpoenas and lying to Congress. Guess it depends on the letter

"Not according to the investigation"

so trusting 4 anonymous sources in a media article when it suits you?

plus their whole purpose in being in DC was to stop the transition & as we now know Trump had a team of conspirators still working behind the scenes to accomplish it right up to that day

& Bannon sure sounds like he knew something was going to happen, certainly worth questioning him

1. I don't give a fuck about the people in Portland.

2. Nothing that went on in Portland or that possibly could happen in Portland, is any threat to the US government.

This equivalency is 100% bullshit.

Steve Bannon SURRENDERS to the FBI

Trump ally Steve Bannon surrenders after his indictment on two counts of contempt of Congress

(CNN)Steve Bannon, a former adviser to former President Donald Trump, turned himself in to the FBI Monday morning after being indicted on criminal contempt charges for refusing to cooperate with the House committee investigating January 6.

Bannon was defiant when addressing TV cameras, saying, "We're taking down the Biden regime."

sample comments from former 'president':

"Terrific working with President Xi, a man who truly loves his country."

"I want to thank publicly President Xi of China, who has done more for us than he's done for any other administration, or than any leader of China has done for any president or administration"

while doing a press conference w/ Macron:
“[Xi]’s a very talented man. I think he’s a very good man. He loves China, I can tell you. He loves China. He wants to do what’s right for China”

various coronavirus comments:
"China has been working very hard to contain the Coronavirus. The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!"

"Just had a long and very good conversation by phone with President Xi of China. He is strong, sharp and powerfully focused on leading the counterattack on the Coronavirus. He feels they are doing very well, even building hospitals in a matter of only days … Great discipline is taking place in China, as President Xi strongly leads what will be a very successful operation. We are working closely with China to help!"

“I think they've handled it [the outbreak] professionally and I think they're extremely capable and I think President Xi is extremely capable and I hope that it's going to be resolved."

"I think President Xi is working very, very hard. I spoke to him. He's working very hard. I think he's doing a very good job." <there's many many versions of this 'Xi working very hard' comment>

on Xi eliminating term limit:
“He’s now president for life, president for life. And he’s great... And look, he was able to do that. I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll have to give that a shot someday”

so tough!
