He also didn’t know around that same time, officers in the area were responding to a 911 call about a group of “Black males” who were “up to no good,” according to dispatch audio, and that they would target him and his younger brother, who were innocent. Nearly two years later, the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) have released some police body camera video showing what happened. CBS 2 used that video, dispatch audio and interviews with the family to piece together a chaotic and traumatic night – one filled with failures and disorganization by the officers involved. The series of events reveal another example of aggressive policing by the department, similar to the types of incidents that sparked a federal consent decree mandating reforms. “I very easily could have been killed that night,” Jaylin said. murder Member	Thu Nov 11 19:08:30 It wasn't meant to be a guessing game. It was assumed that it would be obvious to everyone. Certain things only happen to certain people. Dozens of cops responding to a 911 call of "black teens up to no good". No crime whatsoever except for the cops terrorizing every black teenager they came across. They literally knocked on these kid's door and told them to open it ... and then pulled guns on the kids for opening the door. Cops took the kid's house keys and opened his apartment without a warrant or cause. And then to put the cheery on top ... they tell the kid not to bitch. The kid says that he was taught to respect the police ... but what he really means is that he was taught to fear the police.

Anyway If black males didnt violent commit crime at a rate 20 times higher than the general population, things like this wouldn't happen. It sucks for innocent black males, but its not stopping until the black crime rate goes down.

I had state cops draw guns on me walking out of walmart. Apparently earlier in the day I had walked into the store behind two guys who stole something behimd the counter. Upon viewing the videos the cop did not charge me with any crime.

"I had state cops draw guns on me walking out of walmart. Apparently earlier in the day I had walked into the store behind two guys who stole something behimd the counter. Upon viewing the videos the cop did not charge me with any crime." That's awesome. These kids weren't anywhere near a crime. In fact there was no crime reported or being investigated. The police were simply harassing every black teen they could find at the point of their guns.
