was a better leader than Trump.

1) Had no need to build a wall because he just conquered all his nearby neighbors.
2) Actually implemented a successful infrastructure project instead of just talking about it.
3) Didn't only appoint justices but also his entire legislature and every single government official. What a boss.
4) Never lost re-election because there was no more elections.
Im better then you

So we're all agreed then? let Trump cross the Rubicon, burn the Reichstag and Rule.

You did however forget to mention Hitler's greatest achievement ( arguably)

He took the poorest natiin natiin on earth and turned it into the worlds sole superpower in a few years.

Even in his loss, Germany won. Instead of crippling debt they were given a Marshall plan.

He also instituted the first endangered species laws.

He also had a dog. Graham Lindsay is the closest thing Trump will ever have to owning a dog (I lifted that from some US commedian).

For all the ragging I do on Graham, he definitley plays a cog in the machine well, and annimportant one at that.

McConnell gets all the chicks though.

Authoritarians do know how to get shit done.

In that respect, it's too bad that Trump wasn't one.

lol, when I was giving a nuanced observation towards authoritarians pointing to our history, i.e it has certainly a longer track record compared to democracy and liberal democracy. I remember your vagina got really sandy telling me I was "defending China", telling me "[I] respect authoritarian regimes" (yes you accused me literally of you are doing now) and insinuating it had something to do with my Aryan genetics.

Tell me, because I am curious, what does it feel like being a stupid hypocrite? It is difficult for me to empathize with because I have been above average intelligence all my life.

You sneer at my weed smoking, but it is well documented that alcohol is the real brain damaging drug.

Here it is, to refresh your memory. You kept this up for several threads.

Nim

You respect authoritarianism and authoritarian regimes."

^This was in relation to how countries have handled the pandemic. And here you are Rugian, respecting the authoritarians for "getting things done" :D

You normally come across as the Scandanvian with the best grasp of the English language on this board.

Which makes it all the more baffling that you seem to have no knowledge of what an "in that respect" qualifier means. I was clearly limiting the intent of my statement.

Xi Jinping will also probably end up doing more while in office than Trump. Does that statement demonstrate a sudden affinity for the CCP, or a simple acknowledgement that longevity + absolute power allows for more things to be enacted?

An ability to get shit done does not translate to a successful governing model. China is a totalitarian shithole, and Nazi Germany ended up being firebombed.

Although then again, you also seem to have trouble with the word "nuanced." Openly declaring that Covid proved that western democracy was a failed concept was about as overt as overt could be.

"You normally come across as the Scandanvian with the best grasp of the English language on this board."

Thank you, but you are not kind enough, I generally understand english better than most people with english as their first language. Especially reading and listening comprehension, which were always my strong side, even in primary school.

"Authoritarians do know how to get shit done."

You are literally respecting authoritarians for getting shit done. I didn't misunderstand "in that respect". You then go on to explain "too bad Trump wasn't one". Perhaps it isn't obvious what you are doing, since you have grown accustomed to your own hypocritical BS. You did not only vote for Trump twice, you defended every parcel of bullshit that came out of his mouth, with few insignificant exceptions. here you are sad that he wasn't an authoritarian.

English, allegedly your native language. To be fair, this isn't about not understanding language, you don't understand yourself!

"An ability to get shit done does not translate to a successful governing model."

No shit? Observing that liberal democracy may have fatal flaws in the face of some 1 in 10000 events that authoritarian regimes do not have, and further they have been around for far longer than democracy, isn't an approval or for an authoritarian model. It is a fact, not a desire.

I think readers of average intelligence would have read that as a warning, we need to get our shit together, reassess the models and identify that which is maladaptive for our future survival and thriving. But you are not one of those posters.

Anyway, you are on record for looking to authoritarians for inspiration and being sad that the guy you voted for and defended wasn't the authoritarian you wanted.

And if you insist on getting stuck on "respect", I didn't say any of the things you attribute to me, I looked for meaning between the lines, but objectively, you are much more clear on what you wanted. Too bad Trump wasn't one, really? lol :D

I never said "too bad we are not like China". You said that, just now. Too bad Trump isn't more like Xi.

"you are not kind enough [bunch of autofellatio follows]"

See, now you are just bragging. No one likes an egomaniac.

"You did not only vote for Trump twice"

You have no idea who I voted for.

"defended every parcel of bullshit that came out of his mouth, with few insignificant exceptions."

First off, there's plenty I disagreed with him on, I just felt no need to pile on since the majority of this board already consists of leftwing trolls.

And secondly, I did agree with him on a lot of things, and in many cases it was precisely because he WASNT an authoriarian. Yeah, he says a lot of dumb stuff, but I never seriously feared he would, say, pack the Supreme Court and Senate, eliminate the filibuster, clamp down on opposition financing, blow up the EC, rule Andrew Cuomo-style during the pandemic, force social media companies to censor opposition speech, etc.

"Observing that liberal democracy may have fatal flaws in the face of some 1 in 10000 events that authoritarian regimes do not have"

See, this is where you fuck up, because your entire premise is wrong. Covid has NOT demonstrated any sort of "fatal flaw" in liberal democratic values. So our death count may be higher, so what? That is more than worth the alternative, which is Chinese style authoritarianism.

Meanwhile, I was ONLY speaking in the context of "if getting shit done was the only thing that mattered, then yeah Trump should have had Hitler-style powers." And that was clearly in response to Dukhat's OP which was essentially "Hitler > Trump because he got more done."

This was a non-serious thread that you had to go and make serious. I hope you're happy with yourself.

"1) Had no need to build a wall because he just conquered all his nearby neighbors."

Well, he conquered France and Poland... I mean, you don't think Trump could have done that?

"2) Actually implemented a successful infrastructure project instead of just talking about it."

Which lasted almost 6 years before being incinerated by B-52s.

"3) Didn't only appoint justices but also his entire legislature and every single government official. What a boss."

Also gave up and killed himself(allegedly) instead of fighting to the end. We can never accuse Trump of this since he is fighting the good fight(or more realistically the pointlessly stupid and petty fight) until January 19, 11:59PM.

"4) Never lost re-election because there was no more elections. "

This one is true. Trump would have had to mass-execute all the BLM protesters and then abolish congress and proclaim himself emperor. Instead he just complained a lot and said stupid shit on twitter like a typical millennial.

I do have an idea, you actually pleaded with me ”he is the lesser of two evil”, them be votin’ words. I can’t tie you down to an explicit statement, but almost every word that you have uttered the past 4 years have been your undying (hack level over 9000) support for Trump. Don’t force me to devote the remainder of the year to compiling a list of threads, neither of us want that.

”Premise”
You can disagree with me about the premise and the conclusion or the method of analysis, I wouldn’t take you to task for something like that. I was admiring and advocating authoritarianism, that is what you were saying.

”That is more than worth the alternative”

An alternative is always ruin. Dead people and failes societies don’t get to value anything. As several people said back in march, this is dress rehearsal. Yes rugian, back in march people knew this wasn’t the death of civilization, but still identifies glaring and obvious, fatal flaws for future much worse pandemics. And as far as dress rehearsals go, it has been a circus of retardation. But that is what dress rehearsals are for, let all the fuck ups take place now.

>>I hope you're happy with yourself.<<

I am moderately satisfied, nothing crazy.
