The clown also says that other countries only test when people are hospitalized. The points above are directly related. The true underlying mortality rate is going to differ when conditional on non-hospitalized vs hospitalized cases. In other words, the capturing of non-symptomatic non-hospitalized cases is going to bring the CFR down compared to another metric that is highly skewed towards the CFR on hospitalized cases.

I vote (R) on state/local stuff all the time, since a SF Bay Area (R) is mostly just a moderate (D), and I know they will not be stupid on the social issues, while being fiscally conservative on the spending stuff.
