Turns out people who are used to enjoying freedom get fed up when you take it away. Who would have guessed.

"Thousands protest against coronavirus measures in Berlin

Demonstrators ignore hygiene rules to rally in German capital.

Thousands of people, packed close together and not wearing face masks, protested in Berlin on Saturday against official measures intended to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

Police said they would file charges against the organizer of the gathering as demonstrators had not followed hygiene rules such as maintaining social distancing or wearing a mask covering nose and mouth.

Some 17,000 people took part in the demonstration at its peak, according to police.

The gathering was organized with the title "The end of the pandemic — day of freedom." Some demonstrators chanted "the biggest conspiracy theory is the pandemic," according to German media reports.

A Stuttgart-based organization called Querdenken 711 — which roughly translates as "thinking outside the box 711" — organized the rally.

The interior minister for the city of Berlin, Andreas Geisel, said on Friday that neo-Nazi organizations had also called for people to participate in the march. German media outlets noted that "Day of Freedom" was also the name of a Nazi propaganda film documenting the party's 1935 party congress in Nuremberg.

One banner at the march called for politicians such as German Health Minister Jens Spahn, Bavaria's state premier Markus Söder, Chancellor Angela Merkel and leading Christian Drosten to be "locked away."

Protesters also "aggressively asked" journalists to remove their masks by protestors, newspaper Der Tagesspiegel reported. A video by Querdenken 711 before the march said the group was peaceful and called on attendees to be polite to journalists.

Sawsan Chebli, a senior official in the Berlin city government, called the protest "a disaster."

"I just came from abroad and see these pictures. Many look to Germany, and admire us for how we have dealt with corona. Such pictures are a disaster. They destroy everything. They endanger human lives and destroy livelihoods. They scare me," she tweeted.

That's quite the German name there. Daemon, would you say that's more Saxon or Bavarian?

Lots of anger in Italy as well. People are pissed because of lockdowns and outbreaks in immigrant communities. Western press was cunting nonstop about how Salvini is lidderully Hitlah and now groups that are more extreme are rising in the polls. Despite the crises, the current legislature is focused on LGBT rights. In times of turmoil, their first instinct is to protect poopydick.

"Despite the crises, the current legislature is focused on LGBT rights."

That's both hilarious and sad. LGBT lobbyists are some of the most powerful in the world right now.

I was there and gave the good people leaflets with a QR code for this website. Expect at least 1000 Germans to sign up in the next 24 hours!!!!!!

"Sawsan Chebli"
Palestinian parents but born in Germany. She is like a German edition of AOC: ****** but you want to *** into her face.

I can't write out what I think about her for the following reason (translated)

[...]
The SPD politician is also confronted with hatred by e-mail. Chebli defends herself against the worst insults and threats with "20 to 30 criminal charges per week". But she only wins "very, very rarely".

Another one today.

http://www...ests-against-coronavirus-curbs

BERLIN/FRANKFURT (Reuters) - A German regional court gave the go-ahead on Saturday for mass demonstrations planned in Berlin against coronavirus curbs, ruling against the capital's ban on such protests.

Police have readied for violence as activists opposed to the virus measures have urged social media followers across Europe to arm themselves and gather in Berlin.

Activists, angered by Berlin's decision to ban demonstrations after marchers at a recent rally failed to wear masks or keep their distance, flooded the city with thousands of applications for additional protest rallies this weekend.

"The gatherings planned by several initiatives for Aug. 29 against the corona policy of the federal and state governments can take place," the court ruled.

” Protesters also "aggressively asked" journalists to remove their masks by protestors”

It is too bad that Germans does not have the right to wear automatic rifles. Because...

Protestors breaking social distancing rules and yelling directly in my face would be a serious threat to my health in the era of Chinavirus. I'd say deadly force would be justified in that situation.

Most journalists are limp-wristed faggots. They couldnt handle carrying an AR-15 around even if they were legally allowed to do so.

Excellent news! Glad to see that some Germans still value their right to be free citizens.

The fact that your government thinks that it can ban protests for the better part of a year simply because there's a flu going around should worry you and every last one of your countrymen.

”Demonstrators ignore hygiene rules”

I support this sort of activity. Voters need to see what a Germany under the rule of the far-right would look like.

Just curious, how do older people tend to vote in your elections? Seeing as they're the only people who have anything to actually fear from Chinavirus.

So I wonder how they got Kennedy to be there with the protesters today? Is Kennedy going to be armed as well?

Okay, reading about his views on vaccine and his connection to Trump I can see how he wants to join the armed rebellion in Berlin: http://en.....#Views_on_autism_and_vaccines

The question is though, is Kennedy going to be armed, as the organizers has called for?

Will he be arrested for foreign subversive activity and declared to be an illegal combatant/terrorist?

I think there is safe to say that the people behind Querdenken 711 are American agents. This is how the USA rolls. From Latin America to Hong Kong and the Middle East and now in Europe.

Meanwhile, Putin has been literally talking about deploying troops to Belarus, and you couldnt care less.

Feel free to keep obsessing over RFK Jr. and the alleged American plot to conquer Europe though.

More like, an American based organization called Queerdenken 911 which roughly translates as ”alternative facts 911” is organizing the rally where one of Trump’s people will speak.

I did create a thread about Belarus but no one cared.

But stay on topic, do not try to divert attention from Kennedy's (and indirectly Trump’s) participation in the armed uprising in Berlin.

So apparently the German people do not have the right to protest the authoritarian measures implemented by their government in response to Covid...but they do have the right to protest if they are BLM?

So basically, the German people can only protest over things that occur half a world away from them. LOL what a sick joke.

Interesting. So if Covid ends up hitting a few German nursing homes, it will mostly be CDU voters that get wiped out. Thereby allowing AfD to gain more ground in future elections.

"but they do have the right to protest if they are BLM?"

In the last few weeks a few more demonstrations have been forbidden, example:

Racist attack on February 19: City of Hanau bans memorial demonstration
August 22, 2020
Due to increasing corona infections, the rally by members of the attack has to be canceled. The decision is not only met with understanding.

So how long will the German people accept these restrictions? If Covid lasts for 3, 4 years, will you be okay with not having the right to protest for that entire period? What if no vaccine is developed, and Covid becomes a permanent fixture? Would you be okay with the permanent loss of your rights as a citizen?

To quote our president, Covid "is what it is." At some point we must stop cowering in fear and accept that your chance of death might be a tiny bit higher than it used to be. We must go back to actually living our lives.

"will you be okay with not having the right to protest for that entire period?"

I will demonstrate for my rights to go to concerts.

We have to see how this evolves. Right now number of infections goes up again but so far not the number of hospitalized or dead people. I say we keep some restrictions during winter and if things won't go worse than we end most restrictions.

Anyway, German courts are already doing what politicians don't dare (translated):
http://www...hsen-trotz-Corona-erlaubt.html

The Higher Administrative Court of Lower Saxony has suspended the closure of brothels and similar establishments ordered by the state government because of the Corona pandemic. This was announced by a spokeswoman on Friday. The same applies to street prostitution. A complete ban would be disproportionate, because milder measures to prevent infection would be available, she declared on one of the resolutions of August 28.
