The state department has lowered the number of "journalists" working for five government controlled news agencies from 160 to 100 they say in part as a response to three journalists being told to leave China after they wrote an article critical of China.
China has responded by telling journalists working for five privately owned news agencies they have to turn in their visas and return home.
The Chinese government needs another way to distract the people of China hoping the people won't realize what a complete shit hole of a country they live in.
