Life, Liberty & Levi tonight?

The subject is EMP's.

I don't know which it is, more fascinating or frightening.

There is so much that I'm sure many of us are not aware of.

"There is so much that I'm sure many of us are not aware of."

In your case, pretty much everything even approaching reality.

Obviously, you have not a clue how serious the subject is.

Why don't you STFU until you know what you are talking about?

"Why don't you STFU until you know what you are talking about?"

What a hilarious statement coming from someone like you. You know, someone that actually knows little to nothing about anything he posts about, but keeps on posting all the time.

No, I didn't watch Levine. It would have been a waste of my time. I've been too busy preparing.

The first recorded damage from an electromagnetic pulse came with the solar storm of August 1859, or the Carrington Event. It was the largest solar storm in recorded history.

Its potential as a weapon was first realized by the US military. In the Starfish Prime test in 1962.

If it happened you would definitely find it to be more frightening than fascinating. I was a boy scout so I'm prepared. Get a 10 year supply of stick matches, candles, food, water, machine gun, a million rounds of ammo, and store it in your apartment. You'd be 90 before you run out of supplies. I'm not sure what you would do with your body waste though. I'm mobile so I've got a deep cool dark cave. :)

Forget what I said, after careful consideration, if it happens just bend over and kiss your ass goodbye. You've already lived longer than most.

The supposed threat of EMP weapons is quite overrated.

The shift away from long distance copper telcoms and changes to electricity networks mean our vulnerability has gone down hugely.

Odds are that you will die from old age. Live every day like it is your last. Flirt with the old gals in your apartment complex. They know you are harmless. Of course you can't believe everything you hear or read.

Maybe this will make you feel less concerned.

It looks like the only way to protect against it is to have your electronic equipment inside of a Faraday cage.

They talked about these huge transformers or like transformers that process all of our electricity around the country and Canada.

I think they said the United States and Canada need 8 of them and we have two backups. It takes about two years to make one and they are so big there are only about three trains in The United States that can move them and if they travel by road the roads need reinforcing. They are huge, but I cannot find a picture of one.

And they believe Russia, Iran, and North Korea all have the ability to put our lights out.

TJ, all we have to do is figure out who is blowing smoke.

The Edison Electric Institute or the Homeland Security expert.

Maybe it is a smash and grab plot to make millions. I'll be watching for investment opportunities.

Retard Rod's stupidity is almost painful to witness.

It won't be on Michael Faraday cages. He invented them in 1836. I'll keep an eye on a few other ventures in the electrical industry. Possibly even where Boehner and Reed are making investments. Cannabis companies.

I have a new name for woo, FS.

FS = Fart Smeller. I understand his mom wears a tee shirt, "My Son Is A Fart Smeller."

She only wears it when she is pulling a train though. She got some real class and that proves it.

I smell a stench. It's time to leave the vicinity and do some research.

I pay particular attention when two high and recently retired governmental officials apply insider information indirectly. I'm wasting my time in this thread.
