I have finished watching Oliver Stone's interviews with Putin.

Four 1 hour long episodes. Oliver Stone meets with Putin on dozens of different occasion between 2015-2017 and they talk about interesting stuff. Ukraine, Syria, nuclear weapons, hackings, Russia, about himself, about Snowden, CIA, America, etc and so on. Really interesting.

You'll get to know Putin a bit more. I got the impression that he seems to be charming, nice, briefed and knowledgable, intelligent, honest, honorable and a steadfast man, and you get the sense that he also has humor. At the same time he isn't someone who takes crap or bends over. He seems like a fair guy.

You all should watch these interviews. I recommend them. Dayum.

Putin's greatest flaw is Russia.

Yes he loves his country. I think he sees it as a honor to manage the country and to try to make it strong before he is passing the management along to someone else who loves the country as much as he do.

I think he wants to set a new standard, lay a new foundation for Russia. He wants Russia to have a close relation with Europe and America, but America has not been willing to give up its hostilities. And perhaps if America had had a different attitude towards Russia, then maybe Putin would not have chosen to remain as PM/president for as long as he has been.

Putin's greatest flaw is using oxygen.

jergul, it remains to be seen.

He needs Congressional help to make the changes and it appears that McConnell, et al, are dragging their feet.

And Arizona should demand Sen. McCain's resignation or fire him one.
