Everyone are practically moving away from coal, including India. So who will the US sell coal too?

And gas? Why should Europe buy gas from across the atlantic when we can buy it from like Russia.

Although, Trump is talking about "helping allies" so the US will probably sell coal and gas to Saudi Arabia, not to Germany/EU.

Maybe we can put our best minds together and find a way to use coal that won't pollute the earth and atmosphere.

The first law of thermodynamics says that is impossible. Coal is carbon that was stored away millions of years ago. You cant just dig it up and burn it and assume no environmental impacts. We would have to either bury the by products or convert it to another elemental state. Both of which would require more expense or more energy then its worth.

Trump has already announce that he brought over 50,000 coal jobs back. Of course that is just about all the coal jobs there are in the USA.

But if no one abroad will buy all that coal, those jobs are useless. India announced a few weeks ago already that they have changed position completely on coal. They won't open up any new coal mines, and are looking to move over completely to green energy.

Green energy is the future. That's where all the new jobs will be at.

If USA and Israel are good allies, Israel should prove its worth and start buying the coal from USA. USA is in need of help. Israel can help. But will they?
