"Every time she replied, 'You can't do a trade deal with Germany, only the EU'," the politician said. "On the eleventh refusal, Trump finally got the message, 'Oh, we'll do a deal with Europe then.'"

At this point the blueprint for dealing with Donald is so clear, after observing him with Xi, Merkel, etc. He just extremely easy to persuade, often just repeating whatever he was told by the last person he talked to. There are no deep convictions for him, no ideology, the only things he cares for are his family enrichment and of course, winning. Winning just means what people think, not actual results. So, do not argue with Donald, pay a few compliments, gently explain things, throw a few bones to Ivanka, and you are good to go. For dictators and anyone unencumbered with opposition at homes or any rules, dealing with trump is even easier. Just give him his trademarks, do business in his garish hotels, let Jared's family in, and you are golden

Well, who didn't expect that :-/.

I suppose we could, I don't know, sell one of the vacated whitehall buildings off to him as a new Trump destination. There is a very gilded and now possibly obsolete building on King Charles Street.
