Maybe this time voters will remeber that Republicans are the ones that love shutting down the government.

Don't worry, the media will make sure to blame the gop for it.

"The White House, under internal pressure to show legislative achievements ahead of the 100-day mark, is gearing up for a government shutdown fight to secure money for a border wall, more immigration enforcement officers and a bigger military, according to White House and congressional sources familiar with the plan.

It is a risky gambit. With almost uniform Democratic opposition to nearly all of the Trump administration's spending proposals, the fight could lead to a government shutdown next Friday — the day government spending expires, and right before the 100th day of Donald Trump's presidency. Officials could also strike a one-week compromise, giving them more time for a broader agreement."

Not bad.. "I will shut down my own government unless the Dems pay for the wall that I promised and Mexico was supposed to pay for, but they told me to fuck off!"

So Trump wants to bring back Democrats by threatening to take away insurance from poor people?

I'm sure the 30% of Americans that swallow breitbart.com and FoxNews shit whole will blame the dems, but does he really believe the rest of America will see this as a defensible move?

What a despicable piece of shit.

"Don't worry, the media will make sure to blame the gop for it."

Would this be an unfair assertion? The Democrats as the minority party are under no obligation to help the Republicans govern. The fact Trump can't get his own party in line to pass a budget and instead needs the Democrats is telling.

Billions to bust NIH scientific research is nice. If nothing else, Donald can boast about that, although for his supporters this probably a negative

"U.S. House and Senate negotiators reached a tentative bipartisan deal Sunday night on a $1.1 trillion bill to keep the government open through the end of September, according to Republican and Democratic aides.

GOP leaders eager to focus on health care and tax overhauls bowed to Democratic demands to eliminate hundreds of policy restrictions aimed at curbing regulations from the bill, leaving the Trump administration with few victories.

The White House sought funding to begin building the border wall, a well as $18 billion in cuts to domestic agencies, and both demands were rebuffed. The spending deal includes money for Planned Parenthood, despite Republican demands to defund the group over its provision of abortions. The deal’s provisions were described by aides on condition of anonymity ahead of a formal announcement.

President Donald Trump will be able to point to a $15 billion boost for the Pentagon. He also will get a $1.5 billion for border security, but it can’t be used for the border wall or additional Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, according to a congressional aide. There are also no new restrictions on money going to so-called sanctuary cities that don’t fully enforce federal immigration laws.

The National Institutes of Health would see a $2 billion boost, reflecting the popularity of medical research among lawmakers.

The package will also provide $68 million extra in local law enforcement funds to reimburse New York City and other localities for protecting Trump.

No defunding planned parenthood, no stealing money from sanctuary cities, no wall, along with increased healthcare and science funding.

Looks like the dems did pretty well for themselves here. Only GOP talking points that seemed to happen are increased defense and border security spending.

Now there's going to be a long fight on how to pay for all this stuff.

Hell, if all of that is true then Obama would have been happy with it.
