Alex Jones, the Infowars conspiracy guru, is just playing a part, his lawyer says

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones is just playing a character on his popular Infowars broadcast, according to his lawyer.

The question of whether or not Jones believes the myriad conspiracy theories he espouses daily or is simply putting on a performance has become an issue in a custody hearing between Jones and his ex-wife. Kelly Jones, who has been divorced from Alex Jones since 2015, is suing in Texas court for partial or sole custody of their three children.

According to an Austin Statesman report on the pretrial hearing, Jones attorney Randall Wilhite said that inferring Jones’ character based on his Infowars broadcasts would make as much sense as judging Jack Nicholson based on his performance as the Joker.

“He’s playing a character,” Wilhite said of Jones. “He is a performance artist.”

Don't place any stock in this, Alex is just engaging in a form of taqiyyah to protect his kids against Kelly Jones and her scumbag globalist backers.

"Hoffman, representing Kelly Jones...said it sounded to him as if the girls were being coached by their father. Hoffman will argue that Alex Jones has systematically turned their children against her."

So in other words, Kelly Jones is trying to get her children to...break the conditioning? :o

Also, leave it to dumbest Dukhat to confuse a custody battle with Pizzagate.

Rob just had his world shattered.

Kreel, however, is probably sipping fruity drinks on a beach on nibiru, so this absolutely shocking revelation is unlikely to disturb him too greatly.

I'm not sure I understand where the attorney is going here. Either Alex Jones is a nut, or he's a monster. I can't imagine that a monster would be any more fit in the eyes of the court.

Because Jones would only be *playing* a monster, so to damage Jones' character the court would have to see proof that Jones does monster-stuff when not in the public spotlight ;D

There is nothing monstrous about seeking to warn honest American citizens about the evil globalist plot to kill us in our sleep and turn the friggen' frogs gay. The fact that anyone would be opposed to a man who diligently exposed Hillary's alien baby to the world is shocking and is proof of how strong the globalist conditioning actually is.

"Because Jones would only be *playing* a monster"

He's tormented 9/11 and Sandy Hook families with his bullshit for years to line his pockets.

He's a monster.

"and turn the friggen' frogs gay."

I never got that. WTF was he talking about, and why would anyone want gay frogs? :o)

"He's tormented 9/11 and Sandy Hook families with his bullshit for years to line his pockets. [/] He's a monster."

But (and I should emphasize that this would be the lawyer's argument) if Jones did those things as a performance artist, then it still goes back to him *pretending* to be a monster as part of the performance. To carry forward the lawyer's actor argument, would Tom Hiddleston be a monster for *playing* Loki? Hiddleston also gets paid for performing as a "monster" of sorts, so he similarly profits off the misery of people who want a sort of Thor-virtue to win...

Outside of this legal move, we know that Jones is [most probably?] a legit "monster" in that he wasn't just putting on a performance and was actually spit-balling inflammatory conspiracies in earnest, but with the performance protection someone would have to prove that Jones really is this kind of person. That's not impossible, but Jones' lawyer must think that it's difficult enough that Kelly won't be able to rely on show broadcasts to undermine Jones' fitness as a parent.

"would Tom Hiddleston be a monster for *playing* Loki?"

That depends ... would "Loki" be peddling real life conspiracy theories that belittle the deaths of real children?

If you have not noticed, Cherub Cow has a tendency to post contrary shit regardless of how fucking stupid it makes him look. It's best to just chuckle and ignore it.

That's OK, I'm a contrarian too. But that particular comparison was way out there.

I'm not sure what's sensational about this for anyone who can follow the reality versus the lawyer's manipulation; I'm not being "contrary" just to be contrary, WoO. Performance artists are well known for doing things which push extreme buttons (challenging taboos), so there is ample precedent. Going against the sacred cow of dead children could in fact be one of those performance art targets (see also the "falling man" performance artist -- challenging patriotism and trauma avoidance in the aftermath of the trade towers. Or if not the falling man and for a better example than a Marvel villain, consider how awful it would be for holocaust survivors to see Ralph Fiennes play Amon Goeth in Schindler's List -- real life trauma represented theatrically. Many people think that the holocaust should not be represented at all, yet representing it can have its own functions. The morality of representation depends on a lot).

But again, I am *not* condoning Jones and I am *not* saying that he is in fact a performance artist; I am explaining the **lawyer's manipulation** of performance art protections *versus* our own recognition that the lawyer is making this up for the sake of a custody battle. Or for those still too thick to understand me: the lawyer is playing a bullshit angle that we know is bullshit, but it can work in court because if accepted then it dismisses a large body of evidence.

If Alex Jones drank a bottle of Johny Walker Black label, he himself would admit he is a fraud.

OK, even I'll admit I'm a fraud, and I've only had a bottle of Port tonight.
