The character was unveiled in November 2014, then nameless, at a France friendly, as the build-up to Euro 2016 began. The public were then invited to vote in a social media poll, with Super Victor beating Driblou and Goalix to become the official name.

Uefa said the name was based on the idea of victory and refers to the super powers the small boy gained when he found a magic cape, boots and ball. A spokesman added: ”All we can say is that they [the sex aids] are not produced by Uefa.”

I will narrow down my prediction when the finals starts. I want to see how the french, german and spanish teams plays first in order to make a more accurate prediction. The only thing that is certain is that Sweden will not win.

I am, actually. I like the World Cup more for these games between countries you normally never see playing.

That being said, I do agree the expansion for the EC is bad. Not because of these sort of games, but the first round has been made virtually obsolete. 16 out of 24 teams proceed to the second round... the first round hardly has any tension at all.

Well that's preference I guess. I really like these games between the little countries.

We see the stars all year and clubs tend to play better football.

The Cups between the nations aren't about the best football, you can watch the Champuon's League for that. They are about atmosphere and fun matches. And these sort of games often have an abundance of that.

Euro championship always had the best quality, 16 best from the best continent. This was exactly the reason why, I didn't have to see the representatives of Oceania or some stupid Saudi team at Euros, unlike with WC. Now they just included the lesser euro teams. I mean, Ukraine? I like the country and all, but I know their team, I've seen the players, they are not good enough.
