Later Gilly (who was raped by her dad for most of her adult life) is about to get raped by two guys of night watch, but Sam barges in and is like "Enough with the rape!". He is badly beaten and saved by a giant mythical dog and gets some sad sad pity sex for his lame effort. Sansa loses her fucking mind and asks Reek/Theon to light a candle in the empty tower. Either he is Reek and will tell Ramsey or he is Theon and will fuck up this simple task. So Ramsey flays the old lady who had offered to help Sansa who he was probaly gonna flay anyway. Cause that's his plan to defeat Stannis. At the King's army's camp, the Onion Knight tells King Stannis that everything is fucked up men are deserting, horeses are dying, and the 7 day forcast is depressing as fuck. He suggests they walk back to Castle Black and hid for a couple years. The one true king says the weather channel can suck his salty fiery balls. Melisandre requests permission to burn to death his only daughter. King Stannis says that's an even shittier idea and has to be wishing he had better advisors. We discover Lord FriendZone killed Khal Drogo and killed 50 people with a flamming sword in the Battle of Spike. After impressing Danny by defeating the other slaves by not killing them, Lord FZ reveals his true identity. Olenna's demand for Loras and Margaery's release is declined by the High Sparrow who seems to be quite determined to solve the case of the buggered innkeeper. Later, the High Sparrow reveals to Cersei that Lancel has accepted a plea deal which causes her to want to use the restroom immediately. She is than attacked by a pack of wild angry nuns and thrown in a dungeon. Whose face will Arya be wearing in the first scene? Why doesn't the Red Priestess get laid and produce anthor smoke baby and kill the Boltons? Will there ever be a rape free episode?

And tonight's battle was the single best battle that I've seen in TV or movies in years. It was gripping, it had me caring for the protagonists, and it was fucking scary. Fucking hell.

The Powers That Be Member	Mon Jun 01 15:08:25 This episode was awesome in one big way - it really juxtaposed the absurdity of the Game of Thrones compared to the overarching threat of the White Walkers. The sit down between Tyrion and Danaerys was a great back and forth, but once the episode is over and you reflect back on it, they're talking about something essentially meaningless in climbing the iron throne only to be utterly destroyed by an army that grows with the death of every soldier under their sword. In my opinion, the best episode of the series.

Dragon glass shatters against armour and isn't needed against the undead. I think it happened to Sam in the book, around the time he meets Coldhands. Fire and steel are good enough for the undead masses.
