So many of the liberals seem happy that the US is having problems and that we may even lose our place as the strongest nation on earth.

If that were to happen surely another nation would rise to be the most powerful nation. Most likely China or Russia.

My question is, is that acceptable to the liberals on this forum. Do you think we would have a better world if that were to come about?

Do you think China or Russia would maintain a fleet around the world with the equipment and expert personnel and supplies to step in and help the victims of a huge natural disaster such as a tsunami or major earthquake? Or would they stand by and watch?

I doubt they will maintain a fleet around the world with the purpose of 'helping victims of natural disasters'.

But I think they might help out if a disaster strikes somewhere. Why shouldn't they, if they can gain good will from it. They can do like the USA... print their country's name with big letters of the aid packages and trumpet out that they are there to help because they are the 'good guys'.

Your question sucks Hot Rod. There are so many conservatives, many of them in Washington, that are rooting for America to fail right now so that Obama loses the election. You can practically hear the 1%'s cheer everytime job reports come out negative.

Even under Bush, there were very few liberals wanting America to actually fail. The majority of them were just going berzerk because we knew the policies were going to lead us into the shithole we are in now.
