Maybe with the free market, there'd be at least one airline that wouldn't require you to either show your goods or have them felt up by your local version of Josef Fritzl. But since the government is in charge of things, they're capitalizing on 9/11 but implementing as much Orwellian shit as possible, from indefinite detention to warrantless wiretaps to, yes, losing your right not to be strip-searched by a machine at the airport.
