Aeros
Member | Thu Dec 08 17:52:17 Well, yeah. The dude is selling biological materials over the internet. |
Sam Adams
Member | Thu Dec 08 17:56:40 ^wow |
Sam Adams
Member | Thu Dec 08 17:57:07 a tree branch is biological. Can I not sell a tree branch without a nanny state permit? |
river of blood
Member | Thu Dec 08 18:10:01 Isn't everything pretty much a biological material? Except rocks and shit? Fucking Airhole never ceases to amaze. |
Aeros
Member | Thu Dec 08 18:31:21 So, you think a person should be allowed to sell their own blood over the internet too? No doctors, no tests, just some random dude, a website, and bottles of blood in the mail? |
river of blood
Member | Thu Dec 08 18:35:41 Why the fuck not? |
Aeros
Member | Thu Dec 08 18:41:51 Well, you think water and carrots cab prevent AIDS, so I suppose I am not surprised you would think this way. |
river of blood
Member | Thu Dec 08 18:43:37 I don't have a problem with any two adults consenting to exchange any damn thing they want. If you don't want risky blood then don't buy any. What are you, five? |
Aeros
Member | Thu Dec 08 18:45:21 The problem is that Society as a whole suffers for their decision to infect themselves with risky blood. |
Amadeus
Member | Thu Dec 08 18:51:10 "Why the fuck not?" You think they want to keep it as a full body contact sport as to limit unnecessary contamination? |
chen
Member | Thu Dec 08 18:54:41 if i could buy blood online it would open the door to so many fun pranks. you fail aeros |
Renzo Marquez
Member | Thu Dec 08 18:59:59 Welfaeros, should AIDS gays be allowed to have sex? |
Renzo Marquez
Member | Thu Dec 08 19:02:05 The problem is that Society as a whole suffers for their decision to have gay sex. |
Aeros
Member | Thu Dec 08 19:06:37 "Welfaeros, should AIDS gays be allowed to have sex?" Nope. |
Amadeus
Member | Thu Dec 08 19:13:43 Maybe it is a prelude of abolishing consensual sex altogether. Citizens guilty so contain at all costs. |
Sam Adams
Member | Thu Dec 08 19:15:16 So if I try to sell my old laptop to a friend, the government should have to sign off on the transaction first? my god aeros... you really are a fucking nazi. |
Hellfire
Member | Thu Dec 08 19:15:57 They don't go into very much detail about the handling and distribution of his sperm. If he's just putting his info online then letting someone come over and have sex with him, clearly you can't regulate that short of him purposely infecting people. If he's shipping this stuff via the Postal Service or otherwise over state lines, I could see the feds having some say in it. |
Amadeus
Member | Thu Dec 08 19:24:50 He isn't selling Sam. This is a free transaction. Someone wants to stop the gift process. |

Member | Thu Dec 08 19:32:13 "Well, you think water and carrots can prevent AIDS," Sigh. Here we go again. Actually, IIRC, the discussion you are referring to regarded the relationship between nutrition (e.g. beta-carotene) and cancer where there are a plethora of scientific studies and MDs saying that one can prevent (and even treat) the other.... supporting evidence that shouldn't even be required for something that ought to be consider just plain common sense, but since so many people here at UP seem to be conspicuously lacking in this increasingly rare commodity when it comes to health issues in particular, I provided the necessary links. But since you have now brought up AIDS, here's a link to get you started. It features HUNDREDS of scientific studies that indicate that proper nutrition (particularly immune system boosters like beta-carotene - from carrots) can help prevent AIDS. http://www.altheal.org/treatments/nutritionaltherapy.htm CRRRRAAAAAAAAAAZY!!!! Eh? |

Member | Thu Dec 08 20:04:00 Prevention is not the same as a cure. Though one could argue that prevention is a cure before a cure is required, but that isn't how the definition works. Anyway... about selling biological material online. There are good reasons why it is illegal. If we let just any old bio material through the post we open ourselves to all sorts of potential ecological problems. There is a reason wood and plant material is irradiated before customs will let you have it. This is no different. We don't know what is in his sperm (i.e. in regards to diseases and what not so don't try to be smart and say SEMEN DERP). So it should not be available for public consumption (no pun intended) without it being certified as clean. Now that being said if the offer is for him to knock them up in person, that raises some different issues all together. But if someone wanted to buy black market semen the choice is theirs, but that doesn't mean they have an inherent right to if it can potentially be detrimental to the group as a whole. Plus I think that part of the issue here is the number of children he is fathering. Like that guy the state wanted to neuter because he wouldn't stop having kids and couldn't support the ones he had then. So part of it may revolve around this aspect of concern that this will turn into a drain on society. |
Amadeus
Member | Thu Dec 08 20:53:18 Waste not want not an addiction to a penis pump. He is giving it away not selling. Can we say Government attacking charity? |
Atma01
Member | Thu Dec 08 21:00:10 I can see what you are getting at, but you can't just go around giving out medical waste now can you? Why? Because there are health concerns. But this does raise an interesting point on what the difference between him just knocking them up in person with consent and sending them the sperm to do it themselves is. However I think there is still issue with the actual sending of the bio material via post, since things of that nature are supposed to have special handling and certifications as far as I am aware. Will be interesting to see how this turns out. |

Member | Thu Dec 08 21:05:03 Does the FDA consider sperm a food or a drug? |
Atma01
Member | Thu Dec 08 21:14:49 Don't know. Is that what they put down regulations around? Surely there has to be some regulatory body overlooking the transport of medical tissues and such via post? If not that is a gross oversight in every sense of the word. But heads up, don't softball them in like that. Someone is just going to say; "Does the FDA consider sperm a food" No but I bet you do! So done and out of the way, back to discussion. ;) |

Member | Thu Dec 08 21:23:42 "The legal dispute has gone on for longer than a year." He has been doing since 2003. Seems to be a sticky situation. |

Member | Thu Dec 08 21:46:12 "Surely there has to be some regulatory body overlooking the transport of medical tissues and such via post? If not that is a gross oversight in every sense of the word." He doesn't ship. You tell him what time you want the sperm and he runs down the driveway with a sterile cup of sperm to you waiting in your car. |
Atma01
Member | Thu Dec 08 21:54:42 "He has been doing since 2003. Seems to be a sticky situation." I see what you did there. Well played. "He doesn't ship. You tell him what time you want the sperm and he runs down the driveway with a sterile cup of sperm to you waiting in your car." ... Well at least he knows the importance of good customer service I guess. But seriously, a sperm drive-through? Well at least you can have it your way, its fresh. Ok if this is the case I don't really know where to stand on this now. Does anyone know if there is any issue with giving away free sex? Like lets say you put up a billboard with your number saying 'FREE SEX anytime with prior appointment', would you get in trouble? I am just wondering if there is something along those lines that might be brought up. |

Member | Thu Dec 08 22:01:31 "Prevention is not the same as a cure." - AND? What's your point? The subject raised is regarding prevention. |

Member | Thu Dec 08 22:11:44 I like how Airhole disappeared again after my reply to him about AIDS and nutrition. |
kargen
Member | Thu Dec 08 22:14:49 Sounds to me this might have started as a different issue. Looking at this guys website a sizable part of his clients are lesbian couples who want children. |
Atma01
Member | Thu Dec 08 22:17:04 Because my understanding of the issue in the past was you said it CURED AIDS, not prevented it. If I am wrong in this then I apologise, and after reading Amadeus's comment again I can see he said prevention. So I can fully accept that I spoke out of turn there. But trying to construe that into me trying to make a TC like OWNED statement is wrong. Trying to 'Win' arguments on the internet is fucking retarded. All I try to do is have interesting, and hopefully stimulating, conversation. Don't take everything as a challenge or personal attack that you feel you need to fly off the handle bars about. As much as I fucking hate quoting TC, your insecurities are showing. |
Atma01
Member | Thu Dec 08 22:20:52 And not everyone can sit on their PC 24/7 rob. I had to shower and get ready for a job interview. You might have heard of them. Yeah that was a personal barb. Because you are delusional if you think a lack of response within the 10 minutes on a message board somehow constitutes running away. In all seriousness how old are you? You are acting like a 14 year old on Xbox LIVE. |
Atma01
Member | Thu Dec 08 22:23:44 Oh and obviously I will have to depart for said interview soon. I am happy to continue this discussion at a later point, but lets be civil about it. So just a heads up for a lack of immediate response. |
Amadeus
Member | Thu Dec 08 22:30:33 Forgiven without mention. |

Member | Thu Dec 08 22:33:38 "And not everyone can sit on their PC 24/7 rob. I had to shower and get ready for a job interview" - So you are unemployed then? |
Atma01
Member | Thu Dec 08 22:43:52 "Forgiven without mention." Not you jackass. The apology was for rob since I misread YOUR comment and posted on that. :p As for rob, No. I am currently doing contract work but are looking for a full time position somewhere. Got a call for one just down the road that sounds great and pays well, but for some reason they want to interview at 5PM on a Friday. Which is just un-Australian (unless the interview is conducted at the pub). But I am sure the answer you were looking for is yes. So feel free to run with that if you would prefer. Its not like either of us can prove our employment status either way right? So can we go back to talking about this guy's semen drive-thru already? ;) |
Amadeus
Member | Thu Dec 08 23:00:40 You mind pointing out what comment of mine you misread? |
Amadeus
Member | Thu Dec 08 23:44:44 Additionally, I hope when you return the interview ended successfully. |
Atma01
Member | Fri Dec 09 01:32:27 Fuck. I fucked up again. I saw the quote he put and thought it was something you said earlier. Yeah clearly my attention wasn't 100%. Think I might call it a day for the forums in lieu of a 3rd error. But in response, the interview went ok. It was hard to read the employer but he was smiling most of the time and laughed at my anecdotes. Feedback from the agency was they liked me. But I am aware that I am competing against something like 12 other people. Will know next week if I make it into round 2. |
Garyd
Member | Fri Dec 09 09:30:35 Leaving aside, for the moment, the fact that I can't understand why anyone would want this dude fathering their children, If this guy is willing to sell it and there willing to buy it and it has as of yet not produced anything other than more future tax payers, all this is is an attempt to limit competition to only the government approved agencies. Corporatism anyone? |
kargen
Member | Fri Dec 09 12:31:40 Garyd there is no charge for the service. |
Forwyn
Member | Sun Dec 11 21:14:06 "We don't know what is in his sperm (i.e. in regards to diseases and what not so don't try to be smart and say SEMEN DERP)." Actually, we do, because all of his medical records are made readily available. |
Garyd
Member | Sun Dec 11 21:20:14 Interesting. Then why would they be willing to pay this dufus. |
Amadeus
Member | Sun Dec 11 21:24:57 That indeed is a mystery Garyd. |

iChihuaha | Mon Dec 12 11:03:18 This is why socialism in the USA has always failed and produced mutated abominations in comparison to the rest of the world. Because the only left wingers who exist in any meaningful purpose in the USA, are people like Aeros. |
Amadeus
Member | Mon Dec 12 11:53:12 Pretty bold statement. Things aren't always how they appear. This thread is just another fine example that emotion can monopolize ignorance. |
Sam Adams
Member | Mon Dec 12 11:57:27 is amadeus JB? |
Amadeus
Member | Mon Dec 12 12:29:33 I'm whomever you want me to be Mr. Adams. |
kargen
Member | Mon Dec 12 12:35:49 "Interesting. Then why would they be willing to pay this dufus." Once again they are not paying this "dufus" it is a free service. After reading his website I still think this started as something else. Many of his clients are lesbian couples. Sounds like he probably started doing this when it was still really tough for a lesbian couple to adopt. |
Amadeus

Member | Mon Dec 12 12:42:04 amadeus sounds very much like a JB hybrid, but I actually think its wazzhisname, the aging hippy Fred met a few times. "Because the only left wingers who exist in any meaningful purpose in the USA, are people like Aeros. " The trouble with aeros is, to a european liberal like me, he starts off sounding ok. You read the first few lines and you think, ok, I can go along with that, and then he'll end the paragraph with something like, "so this is why all first born males should be turned over to the state, because they do, after all, belong to the president," and all the european liberals go, "Wtf just happened?" |
Amadeus
Member | Mon Dec 12 12:44:23 What is disturbing is the demand for such a service. |
mexicantornado
Member | Mon Dec 12 13:10:28 Liberals do not think citizens can regulate themselves, instead the government must be involved in everything. |
Amadeus
Member | Mon Dec 12 13:24:12 All collectives need regulating and the world is a mass of collectives that certainly need regulation. Laws can and do drive the determined underground. Eliminate the need of demand and it disappears. Chain of command is highly important in any workable collective. |

iChihuaha | Mon Dec 12 13:47:21 >>Mon Dec 12 13:26:59 TeeJay, thats it.<< Hehe I have actually suspected for a while that Amadeus is Teejay. Based on the fact that we disagree all the time, but it is just impossible to get uncivilized with him. He just stands out in the way he writes (talks) and form sentences. He can be infuriating but impossible to hate and I see that in the poster Amadeus. So if he is Teejay, welcome back, I missed you :) |

Member | Mon Dec 12 16:37:07 I've missed you too Nim and I appreciate the welcoming. I had lost my pass for the account and much later discovered. I didn't have much time to post then and I thought what the hell and tinkered. It was unplanned and simply developed into nonsensical play and when I did have opportunity it lacked any substance turning into boredom. My life turned in such a way that a good amount of time became available recently. It is all good though and soon it will change again because of accrued responsibility. I purposely got more and more obvious to see what it would take to be discovered or even if I would be discovered. It has been a considerable amount of time since I posted as TJ. I'm also a firm believer that from the mouths of babes resides wisdom among other traits since I have babes the ages of most of you. I hope I'm never beyond the ability to recognize that importance. Maybe that doesn't make a good candidate in such a forum but it does provide me value. Important value since there are approximately 7 billion mes in the world. |

iChihuaha | Mon Dec 12 16:48:25 Hi pops :) This place sure is a good a place as any to waste time and survive through boredom! Mighty sneaky of you to return in secret, on the bright side, you at least didn't fake your own death. Heh! And I was serious btw, I actually have missed you :) |
TJ
Member | Mon Dec 12 17:16:50 I've never considered this place a waste of time. The role playing got boring. There we go disagreeing again. :) I meant what I said too. I cringe at the thought of pretending my finale ,but different stokes for different folks is fine by me. When it arrives will be soon enough and I'll be calmly speaking in defiance or maybe not, but there in a expediency to see it unfold. Hopefully in the end my full life will let me drift into an conscienceless void. Life has prepared me hopefully reasonably well. Pain is no stranger. |
