Omar Suleiman, formally a Minister without portfolio and director of the Egyptian General Intelligence Directorate (EGID), has been sworn in as the new Vice President.

From what they say about him he is well thought of by many including some Israelis.

Not sure if he will end up in power, but if he does he may be a good choice.

Because in the news clip it mentions that he has been involved in negotiations with Israel and he is respected by some of the Israeli negotiators.

Why don't you go research the man instead of attacking my 'ifs' an 'mays'.

I am not endorsing the man, but obviously whomever takes over eventually will need to get along well with Israel or the Middle East *MAY* return to the mess we had prior to The Camp David Accords.

I am willing to give the man a 'wait and see' based on what they said on the news.
