So, I'm going through the forum and I realize Hot Rod keeps posting an independent opinion, different from the standards and norms that I find acceptable.

Because of this, and because of the lack of uniformity on the boards, and because it is so much trouble to keep going back up to the mod thread to report all of Hot Rod's posts and threads for deletion, I am making a proposal. I do this for the benefit of the entire board.

My proposal: From now on, all posts will be invisible until I "approve" them.

I will be able to click the posts I approve, and they will then- and only then-become a part of the thread. If I do not click on them, they will be deleted every 12 hours or so, automatically (we can play with the script that deletes those posts as needed).

In any case, I feel this will keep all of our thinking more "uniform" and within the realm of sane and practical, while at the same time preventing those unfortunate outbursts from posters who obviously need much more guidance in how they think.

So, now you'll vote, and your votes will be yes/agreed.

Proceed. Your "yes" vote constitutes your consent to be governed by me. This step will not only make the boards much more cohesive, it will also eliminate the need for moderators.

I vote yes. All posts should definitely have to go through an arbitrator, especially a fair one with good judgment like you.

Too much information, and too many opinions can be confusing.
