Why you on Guam and having nightmares of the island flipping over?
The sad part is you can't even claim he just used a poor choice of words with "capsize" and that he really meant something else. Hell he even hand gestured the island flipping.

Give the other guy credit though for being able to answer the question without so much as a giggle.

But seriously, I'm pretty sure he was kidding. He even smiles a little bit. I mean on one hand there are stupid people out there. On another, even the dumbest niggers I have ever known knew that islands did not capsize.

I want to cry for humanity, and you poor, poor Americans who are lumbered with such idjits.

"We do not anticipate that". Fucking hell, that's discipline.

I think the real issue is he is clearly off of his tits on something, probably some kind of medicine.

There ought to be some kind of lucidity test for politicians to be allowed to sit.

I guess we should consider ourselves lucky the roles are not reversed. A military commander drawing up contingency plans for an island flipping over would be of much more concern.

Not a congressman but still an elected official, here is somebody else that probably should be asking if we want fries with that instead of being a county supervisor.
Almost as bad as being worried about islands flipping.

What do you expect from a left wing nut liberal democrat? Just look what the rest of them are doping to our country.

As far as I'm concerned they are all just as stupid as this guy.

That is not in the scope of this thread. Please make a new one.

Of course it fits this thread.

His stupidity begs a 'comparison' with the other left wing nut liberal democrats.

No, no, I am affraid it doesn't fit the scope of this thread, it was not about partisan bickering. Move along please.

It is old. The guy had Hepatitis C and was on some pretty nasty drugs.

I think the drug that effected him most was the drug of stupidity.

In his defence though. He doesn't know when he is being stupid.

Drugs are a real possibility. Not only was he talking nonsense, he was very inarticulate and it took him way too long to put sentences together.

What a happy coincidence kargen picked a democrat.

In December 2009, Johnson revealed that he had been battling Hepatitis C for over a decade. According to Bob Keefe of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the disease has resulted in slow speech and a tendency to regularly get "lost in thought in the middle of a discussion".[

He makes something like $176,000 a year... and we pay his salary. Disgusting.

Why is this guy still in congress, if he spends significant amounts of time essentially incoherent, whether it becasue of medication or he's just naturally dumb as a box of rocks, doesn't matter. He still has no business making decisions that will effect how the rest of us will conduct our lives in the future.

Milton:

I find it disturbing that legislators should be allowed to sit when impaired.

I mean, fair dos, he was off his tits, but if his faculties are impaired he needs to stand down temporarily or permanently.

The other possibility is he had Alcohol in his system. Hepatitis strikes the liver. If he has a bad case, any amount of Alcohol could render him raging drunk, since his liver cannot filter it properly.

The most likely possibility is that he is a complete retard.

I dont fucking care how it came to be that he said something that stupid, it is unacceptable and he should resign or be impeached.

"What a happy coincidence kargen picked a democrat."

I didn't pick him.

If you go way back up to the top of the thread you will see it was Seb who first posted. I can laugh at Republicans just as easy as I can Democrats.

This is something different, but I thought this was really funny.

The number of deeply partisan districts is heavily skewed towards the democrats. Every single inner-city area is basically around +40 or more D in registration.

These types of partisan districts tend to elect dumbasses.

And its these partisan distrcits that always represent leadership positions because leadership is dependent on seniority and you only get seniority and survive waves if you are in a partisan district.

This is why the American voter tends to prefer the least damaging kind of dumbass, the one in charge of a smaller government that has less power.

washington DC, which is almost entirely negroid, is like 95% democrat. Not surprisingly, it has the highest crime of any east coast city. EVEN BEATING NEWARK.

It's called gerrymandering (?), the party in power get's to re-write congressional district lines to favor their party. Congressmen with rare exceptions are usually political hacks who follow like sheep what the powers that be tell them to do.

I don't see why when congress is higher up on the food chain than the military. Maybe you're just a dumbass.

"I don't see why when congress is higher up on the food chain than the military. Maybe you're just a dumbass."

Nope we all agreed long ago you are the dumb ass. The congressman is just one of several and can't force an action by his word alone. The military guy though being the top guy on the island could very easily have men out there with shovels and bulldozers taking preventive measures for an island flip. Thus it is better that the congressman expressed this view and not the military leader.

You probably won't understand that, but I had a little time to explain it to you anyway. Maybe a friend at the barber college can explain it to you.

"The congressman is just one of several"

But a military commander is the entire military? FAIL.

"and can't force an action by his word alone."

He can't tell his staff to do anything? Fucking idiot.

I didn't say that you illiterate fuck.

"He can't tell his staff to do anything? Fucking idiot."

Sure he can. Get me a cup of coffee. Print another 100 of those. Read this bill for me.
That kind of thing.

"I didn't say that you illiterate fuck."

"The congressman is just one of several and can't force an action by his word alone."

So then a military commander is just one of a group of people then too, right? If so then how does this statement of yours draw any fucking distinction between a congressman and a military commander? Fucking jesus....

"Sure he can. Get me a cup of coffee. Print another 100 of those. Read this bill for me.
That kind of thing."

Yes, 1000 page bills that revamp entire portions of our infrastructure and give away trillions of dollars is of relatively little consequence... especially compared to really important shit like what happens on the remote island of Guam.

Wow. I think the short bus is missing a passenger.

"So then a military commander is just one of a group of people then too, right?"

Are you really going to play it this stupid? Do you know why they are called military commanders? It is because they have actual people (usually lots of them) they can directly command. He could tell his men to go park all the jeeps on the other side of the island to counterweight the base if he wanted and until he is releived of command (as he soon would be) that is what would happen.

"Yes, 1000 page bills that revamp entire portions of our infrastructure and give away trillions of dollars is of relatively little consequence... "

No it is of great consequence, but the congressman all by his lone self can't do shit with it. He can say "fuck it lets do it" and unless a few hundred othe congressmen also say fuck it then it means nothing.

A nut in control of the military out in the field is much more dangerous than a nut in congress. You probably knew that once, but the fumes from the comb cleaner at the barber college has finally killed most your brain cells and you have forgotten a lot of stuff.
