Tel-aviv is a much more dynamic city then many i have been to, and in terms of nightlife and culture much better then anything that i have seen in australia. In fact for lists of cities with best nightlife tel-aviv always comes in the top 10. Kfar sava a town north of tel-aviv is i think much better then many suburbs i have been to in australia, but not as good as some i have been to in the USA, specfically on the outskirts of san francisco. But better then many european cities i have seen. Jerousalem is jerousalem, arab side is a dump israely side could pass for any city on that list but i didnt like it there. Lots of positives to it but you have to like hills and arabs and religious jews. and i hate all 3. But its a great place to get drunk, theres a nightlub near the old city called putin's. Filled with russians almost as witty and good looking as myself. brilliant atmosphere. Paris is over rated, los angeles is a dump, san francisco is almost exactly like sydney except with shit weather, moscow is hauntingly beutifull but very difficult to survive in. Vienna is full of boring people, committing suicide or leaving for ever, is probably the most entertaining thing you can do there. Amsterdam has nice canals and has many charms unfortunately the stoned americans/australians/canadians/new zealanders ruin it. My list of most liveable cities would include tel-aviv, but also new york and hong kong. But my list is based on opportunities and entertainment. These lists in question largely on issues of economics, law and order and maybe public transportation (which doesnt explain why sydney made it to so many).
