Remember how you guys used to diss Bush for playing so much golf?

Just heard that Obama has played golf 24 times since becoming President.

It took George nearly three years to play golf 24 times.

And that doesn't count shooting hoops and running out for hot dogs.

The issue was not GWB playing tons of golf and not even his endearing "Now watch me drive" quote. Golf became an issue when in 2008, Bush said, during an interview that he had given up golf to because he "owed it to the soldiers families". Now, aside from his laughable idea of solidarity, Bush was asked when exactly he had given up playing. He said that it happened when he heard about the UN chief Sergio Vieira de Mello got killed.(he was playing golf at the time). And then it turned out that he lied, because it was documented that he played at least twice after that date.

I do recall you people whining and dining on Bush taking so much time off at the ranch, even though most of that was working vacations, his playing golf, and your wishing you could hold it for him every time he took a leak for eight years.

Take this thread. The OP is an attack. but its also a weak attack because its not true. Golf was never a particular point of irritation with the Bush haters (=most of the planet). And your explanation that this is about revenge for feeling slighted by world wide anger towards him.
