Lets try again:

1.

TC - "This is a flawed study:
http://www.ncpa.org/pdfs/2009_harvard_health_study.pdf "

PROOF? And try to AVOID a non medical, non scientific, right wing organization with an anti-health care agenda...try to use a SCIENTIFIC source, LIKE I DO.

2. Tell me though, why do you support obvious lobbyists and anti-health care non medical expert right wingers against famous institutes of medical learning and science when it comes to scientific papers?

Footnote:

My sources: Harvard University & The National Cancer Institute

TC's sources:

"John C. Goodman is NCPA president and CEO of the National Center for Policy Analysis...
along with former Sen. Phil Gramm and columnist Bill Kristol with playing the pivotal role in the defeat of the Clinton Administration's plan to overhaul the U.S. health care system."

NCPA's revenue in 2007 was $8.7 million.[7] The NCPA web site states that it "receives 70% of its funding from foundations, 20% from corporations, and 10% from individuals."[citation needed]Its foundation sponsors include the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, the Sarah Scaife Foundation, the Earhart Foundation and the Armstrong Foundation.[citation needed]

In 1992, the New York Times reported that NCPA was partially funded by the insurance industry."

And the EPI:

"Richard Berman is a Washington-based lobbyist. Through his public affairs firm Berman and Company, Berman runs several industry-funded non-profit organizations such as the Center for Consumer Freedom[1] and the Center for Union Facts.[2] Berman's companies have run numerous media campaigns downplaying the dangers of obesity, smoking, mad cow disease, drunk driving, the minimum wage and other issues.[3][4]

In the mid-1990s, Berman was funded by tobacco giant Phillip Morris to fight the movement to add non-smoking sections in restaurants.[3]

Organizations controlled by Berman include:

* The Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF), originally named the Guest Choice Network (GCN). CCF serves as an adovocate for restaurants, meat, dairy, food processors, and alcohol. The group was formed in 1995 with funding from tobacco giant Phillip Morris.

* In late 2006, the company initiated a campaign to downplay the level of mercury in fish; their website encourages pregnant women to eat more fish (which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and U.S. Environmental Protection Agencyâ?? have recommended against for years), and calls findings that don't support their claims "scare tactics."[13][14]

* The American Beverage Institute (ABI), which fights against increasingly laws designed to criminalize alcohol consumption, including the push to further raise existing blood-alcohol arrest thresholds.[15]"

Also, the last two paragraphs are irrelevant and mistakenly copied to this thread.
