He had a customer which was part of some cult trying that was currently to prove that their leader hadn't poisoned someone...

He was freaked out by this guy.

Well, I could not get online all night last night.

I don't know what happened. According to the ISP, it was a "service related interruption".

I said "so you're doing service in my area? At midnight?"

They said "not necessarily".

I asked "will it be up by morning? Because I need internet access", and she replied "I'm not sure sir, but you are welcome to call back again tomorrow if it isn't, or I can schedule a service call".

I scheduled a service call, but by morning internet service was back.

They got my geographic location, and the name of my ISP, in case they need it for future reference.

Once a week, or once every few days, someone down there will cache the site and browse it for any kind of potentially dangerous activity.

If they see that there is some arms trade or other highly illegal activity, they'll get a warrant, get my address from my ISP and swoop down, nab me and the server, and probably have parallel action in every country where the activity was taking place. In other words, they would grab PF and whoever else he was offering "nuclear material and fly larvaes" to.

It would then take the typically slow bureaucracy a week and a half to actually read through everything, question me, question PF, question whoever else and realize that PF is just a little bit off of his rocker, and that there never was any danger.

A week later I would be back online cursing everyone out.

I said "so you're doing service in my area? At midnight?" They said "not necessarily". I asked "will it be up by morning? Because I need internet access", and she replied "I'm not sure sir, but you are welcome to call back again tomorrow if it isn't, or I can schedule a service call". I scheduled a service call, but by morning internet service was back.

Once a week, or once every few days, someone down there will cache the site and browse it for any kind of potentially dangerous activity. If they see that there is some arms trade or other highly illegal activity, they'll get a warrant, get my address from my ISP and swoop down, nab me and the server, and probably have parallel action in every country where the activity was taking place. In other words, they would grab PF and whoever else he was offering "nuclear material and fly larvaes" to. It would then take the typically slow bureaucracy a week and a half to actually read through everything, question me, question PF, question whoever else and realize that PF is just a little bit off of his rocker, and that there never was any danger. A week later I would be back online cursing everyone out.
