FOX is filled with nothing but moronic douchebags. Here they criticize Obama for not proclaiming "Holy shit we owned your dumb alcoholic asses in the Cold War!" while he was conducting negotiations in Russia:

"The president is in Russia and he sat down for an interview with our own Major Garrett. You won't believe his answer to Major's very first question:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

MAJOR GARRETT, FOX NEWS CORRESPONDENT: In your speech this morning you said the Cold War reached its conclusion because of the actions of many nations over many years.

Mr. President, are the Russian sensitivities so fragile that you can't say the Cold War was won? The West won it and it was led by a combination of Democratic and Republican American presidents?

PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: There were a whole bunch of people throughout Eastern Europe who showed enormous courage and I think that it is very important in this part of the world to acknowledge the degree to which people struggled for their own freedom.

We don't have to diminish other people in order to recognize our role in that history.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Now that's interesting because Lech Walesa, the leader of the Polish Solidarity Movement, said this about the end of the Cold War: "We in Poland took him [Ronald Reagan], so personally. Why? Because we owe him our liberty. This can't be said often enough by people who lived under oppression for half a century."

Mr. President, if I were you, you may want to consider hitting the history books before your next foreign trip."

Yeah, how stupid of Obama to not be a fucking asshole and parrot historically questionable claims that would piss off the very people he's negotiating with. Good one, you stupid fuck Hannity.

The fat moron continues:

"The Peacemaker

Monday the president also spoke to students at the New Economic School in Moscow and held forth on the topic of U.S.-Russia relations. You'll love this. Take a look:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

OBAMA: As I said in Cairo.

LIBERAL TRANSLATION: I love quoting myself.

OBAMA: Given our independence, any world order that â?? given our interdependence, any world order that tries to elevate one nation or one group of people over another will inevitably fail.

LIBERAL TRANSLATION: Ignore the fact that America has been the lone superpower for the past 20 years.

OBAMA: The pursuit of power is no longer a zero-sum game. Progress must be shared.

LIBERAL TRANSLATION: Hey, this community organizing jargon is coming in handy!

OBAMA: That's why I have called for a reset in relations between the United States and Russia.

LIBERAL TRANSLATION: George W. Bush didn't understand any of this complicated stuff.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

I'm sure the Russians really appreciated your offer to share power with them, Mr. President. Unreal."

Lame humor aside, Hannity taking some general words in a speech and acting like we've just surrendered to Russia or something is one of the most idiotic things I've ever seen. Christ on a stick, it actually scares me that so many people take this retard and other FOX commentators seriously.

On a side note, there is a video on the right side of the webpage which has a picture of Obama and the caption: "the era of big government has returned." Yeah, cuz government under Bush was so small, right?

Fucking idiots.

"LIBERAL TRANSLATION: George W. Bush didn't understand any of this complicated stuff.

He didn't. Hence the failure on pretty much every foreign policy issue.

Lech Walesa's last 10 years or so have been seen as a bit of a joke by many Poles. unlike our President Washington, he did not retire gracefully.

also, the above statement could be copy-pasted with equal accuracy while replacing Regan's name with a host of others. A Polish guy by the name of Karol Wojtyla comes to mind here. his name later in life was Pope John Paul II.

Lech was a hell of a revolutionary, but remember what made his becoming a hero possible -- he was an uneducated working, a devout Catholic, and a Pole through and through. you can be Marxist, a patriotic Pole, a Catholic... whatever the most important center of your life in 1980s Poland (no Jews left, remember), he can *still* appeal to you...

...but no one has ever accused him of being an especially smart man, an effective statesman, or an effective representative of his nation abroad.

I stopped for 5 minutes of Fox News today and was reading the bottom scroller; it said that 70% of Americans' opinions of Palin hadnt changed since she resigned, and that 70%+ of Republicans would vote for her as President in 2012.

It made my heart sink a little.

Anyone who doesn't heavily question the reality of what Hannity, Limbaugh, and their "neo-con" doctrine after what they did to the country that last 8 years, is absolutely blinded and biased. Just as bad as any left wing America hating hippy.

The Bush administrations should have proved to any conservatives and moderates that you can't trust politicians even of your own favored party. Question everything. Especially those without the ability or desire to talk about issues from all view points and sides of an issue (Hannity and Limbaugh for example).

I never could work out if he was a joke. Occassionally he'd actually pwn InsHannity, but whether it was fake as a wrestling match, or whether they just looked for the wimpiest, weak assed "liberal" they could find, I don't know. They shoulda put Ventura on with Hannity, of course he wouldnt have the balls for that anymore than he had the balls to stand by his word on getting waterboarded, the gutless chickenhawk.

"Jesse Ventura: Well, you know, I donâ??t have a lot of respect for Dick Cheney. Hereâ??s a guy who got five deferments from the Vietnam War. Clearly heâ??s a coward. He wouldnâ??t go when it was his time to go and now, heâ??s a chicken hawk. Now, heâ??s this big, tough guy who wants this hardcore policy and heâ??s the guy that sanctioned all these tortures by calling it enhanced interrogation?

Larry King: Do you think Rush Limbaugh is a better Republican then Colin Powell.

Jesse Ventura: No. Not at all. In fact, if you compare the two, letâ??s look at Colin Powell who was a war hero who strapped it on for his country.

Larry King: Twice.

Jesse Ventura: And didnâ??t run and hide and then you look at Dick Cheney who ran and hid. Why, I have no respect for Dick Cheney."
