But even then on individual policies are more diverse. They are much more likley to be anti abortion and some pockets much more anti communist. I guess technically blacks are the most religious, but by action and politics Of say Latinos are at least from personal experience. The black church goers are more of a sub division of democratic group meetings than a religion.

Also Hispanic democrats are often more conservative democrats.This is not always the case either. The diversity in them also comes from where they come from. Black Americans mostly have the same culture all across the US and likley are not recent immigrants.

Blacks are use to being scapegoated and switched their vote en masse. Even then, enough vote Republican for it to matter. Dubya won Ohio and the election in 2004 because of gay marriage amendments that appealed to conservative dems, including black churchgoers.
