I think the last vestige of GOP support for Trump just left. They are actively hoping he loses in November. I also wonder what his supporters think of this. I know a few personally, and they are all immigrant hating batshit crazies. The next five months should be... exciting?

You had a Republican president willing to take political damage with a democratic majority and some republican senators for a bipartisan coalition which would've given cover to both parties. It still failed. Now in our hyper-partisan world, we will not get there again for at least a decade. And Obama was never going to spend his political capital on immigration reform first. He spent it on the stimulus and on healthcare reform like he should have. If you don't like what happened, get more progressive republicans and democrats elected. Which you won't get on this issue because it is a huge electoral loser. People are ok with the kids having a path and that's it. Bernie Bros. progressives just don't like the fact they can't convince a majority of Americans to come onto their side on many issues.
Y2A rank	Sun Jul 12 06:51:55 2020 looked more into this interview, as it turns out it looks like it is going to be an election year scam with an attempt to destroy the existing immigration system to one designed such that only stormfronters decide who gets in. not the first time. the only way ppl with DACA are going to have anything done is by getting in Biden and hold his ass to the fire (unlike with Obama, where everyone just kissed his ass and made no demands).

Biden will win with a massive super-majority because of center-right older white voters. Those voters don't care about giving people like you a path to citizenship. Your best chance is to enlist some moderate Republicans and to wait for when the economy is good and people don't care about the personal economic harm they feel from people like you. Far-left progressives are as fucking retarded as Trump supporters. No empathy and no fucking ability to build a broader coalition. And unlike Trump supporters, they don't have an electoral college advantage or the right to vote either (Y2A is clearly a DACA anchor baby or something similar).
