I just saw an ad for this. Is it true?

If it is I think the collapse of America as we know it is imminent. What kind of a person watches a reality tv show, let alone one that follows around such an untalented, unintelligent individual who isn't even hot.

As compared to all the reality tv stars who are talented, smart and hot?have you seen many reality tv shows?

Well the hot is most of the ones with the most viewers. Snooki being the lone exception to that.

I suppose on the plus side maybe this will hurt her chances of being a presidential candidate.

She has no chance of being a real presidential candidate. Now in ten years I could see her being the next Oprah though.

Just because she is illiterate doesn't mean she can't make money by endorsing books.Oprah made her money/power from her supporters/followers, which are mostly houswives, SP is very popular with that same group (with the exception of blacks probably)

That said, I agree with Newt Gingrich when asked if he thought that she was presidential material, his reply was "She is as much presidential material as Joe Biden is"

" But Joe Biden is closer to the Presidents desk then Palin ever will be."

Which is a scary thought (Biden, not that palin was kept away from it)

That being said which has more political clout? no question that Palin is.

Man why do people keep trying to put her dumbass on tv.

The only thing she deserves it to be gaped by 2 horses then to have a grenade the size of a football put in her newly stretched ass and pussy

Sounds more like a documentary than a 'realty show' to me.

"Sarah Palin's Alaska is a new documentary series that takes viewers into the country's 'final frontier' through the eyes of one of its most famous citizens - Sarah Palin.

In each episode, Sarah is joined by various family members as she shares the state she knows and loves - from salmon fishing in Bristol Bay to hiking along one of our country's most breathtaking glaciers. Along with Alaska's great wilderness, the Palins encounter Alaska's fascinating residents and share what its takes to thrive in the country's largest state.

The 8-week television event is produced by Mark Burnett Productions and is scheduled to premiere Sunday, November 14 at 9/8C."

If you would like to see a preview video check this out.

[edit] Early life

Mark Burnett was born on July 17, 1960 in the east end of London, England, the only child of two Ford Motors factory workers. He was raised in London, and later moved to Dagenham, Essex. At the age of seventeen, he enlisted in the British Army, and became Section Commander of the Parachute Regiment. From 1978-1982 he served with the Parachute Regiment in Northern Ireland and the Falklands War, where many of his fellow soldiers died in the advance on Port Stanley.[citation needed]
[edit] Career

In October 1982, Burnett decided to leave Britain for the United States. His original plan was to fly to Los Angeles to seek work as a military adviser.[citation needed]

Burnett ultimately decided to stay in Los Angeles, where he met up with a friend, Nick Hill, who had also immigrated from Britain a few years earlier and was working as a nanny and chauffeur. Hill knew of an open position for a live-in nanny position with the Jaeger family in Beverly Hills, the interview for which was that night. Though he had no experience in that field, Burnett took the opportunity, and because of his military background, the Jaegers, realizing the advantage of having a nanny and security at the same time, hired him. After a year of working for the Jaegers, he moved on to another family in Malibu, taking care of two boys for $250 a week. He was eventually given a position in the insurance office owned by Burt, the father of the two boys.[citation needed]

Two years later, Burnett and his girlfriend, Kymberly, decided to rent a portion of a fence at Venice Beach and sell T-shirts for $18 each during weekends. After making his fortune from selling shirts, he left his insurance job and started a credit card marketing business.[citation needed]

On February 21, 1991, he read a newspaper article by Jon Markman about a French adventure competition called the Raid Gauloises. With four other members, he joined the Raid, and called his team American Pride. Aside from adventure, he saw a business opportunity in the competition, and decided bring a similar race to America.[citation needed]

Burnett has produced the U.S. version of the series Survivor and the Eco-Challenge. Survivor is the most watched summer series since Sonny and Cher and in June 2009, was featured in Entertainment Weekly as the Number 1 reality series of all time.[1] He has also produced both the U.S. and UK versions of The Apprentice, and helped produce the Irish version of The Apprentice. Burnett's other television franchises include; The Restaurant, The Casino, Rock Star, Combat Missions, The Contender, Martha Stewart, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, and Pirate Master. He collaborated with Steven Spielberg on a Fox show titled On the Lot, which granted one out of 18 contestants an exclusive Hollywood deal with DreamWorks and Spielberg.[2] The show premiered in May 2007. In 2008, new series for Mark Burnett included Amne$ia and My Dad Is Better Than Your Dad on NBC and Jingles on CBS. For the past three years, Burnett has also served as the executive producer for the 2007, 2008, and 2009, MTV Movie Awards.

New series for Burnett in 2009 include Shark Tank on ABC, Bully Beatdown and Starmaker on MTV, How'd You Get So Rich? on TV Land, Expedition Africa on The History Channel, Toughest Cowboy on Spike, and Wedding Day on TNT. Burnett is also currently in production on new pilots for both Fox and CBS.

Since 2001, Burnett's series have been nominated for 67 Emmy Awards and have won 2, along with 4 People's Choice Awards.

Time included Burnett in their April 26, 2004 list "100: Our List of the Most Influential People in the World Today".[3] In the same year, Burnett was also named â??Philanthropist of the Yearâ?? by the Reality Cares Foundation. Furthermore, Burnett has won both Brandweeksâ??s Marketer of the Year Award and the prestigious Rose dâ??Or Frapa Format Award.

In November 2007, Burnett was elected into the Broadcast and Cable Hall of Fame and in 2008, it was announced that he would be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. On July 8, 2009 Burnett received a star at 6664 Hollywood Blvd.[4]

He is currently producing a Reality Television series for The Hills star Audrina Patridge, which will premiere on MTV in 2011. He is also ambassador for Operation Smile.

[edit] Personal life
