No, thatls exactly my point. Presidents have to stay on message. Obama wants to get his message out, so Q & A is how he does it. Everything a President say's is taken under a microscope. The slightest deviation could be seen as a shift in policy. I never bashed Bush for using scripted Q & A, mainly because I realized the man was incapable of an unscripted version. Obama has had unscripted Q & A before, but for something as explosive as these issues it's better not to take the risk.
