Still hard to tell but set up to show 'something is going on somewhere but the guvment ain't saying shit' until evidence starts going viral. Seems like one of the protagonist's is a heroin addict, so be fun. To see what happens when can no longer score w/ zombies!

The addict (Frank Dillane) does a fantastic job. There is not a single moment on camera of rest or normal behavior or movement for him. Terrific job.

I think the show will be worth watching. It will be cool to see society fall apart. I hope they stay in that time frame for a good long while, it's what will make the show stand out.

Did like the first episode! In the last 10 minutes I kept worrying that they'd end it on an odd cliffhanger, but it turned out okay. Hopefully they won't drag too long when it comes to their understanding of the virus, though. The pacing between scenes was a little odd at times, even if a lot of that can be forgiven given their adjustment to a zombie outbreak... Should be neat to see how they plan to show quarantines and government actions

Rewatched episode 1..
- Looks like Gloria (heroin addict's friend) must have ODed then started killing (not that it matters)
- So probably the hospitals know about the virus' effects and have been hiding the walkers from the public?
- Do high schools really teach Chaos Theory now? - Why was the windshield cracked on Travis' (the step dad's) truck? Continuity error? Prop issue?

Another positive indicator for the show, since the TC multi has continually shown horrible taste.

def! :p
..the only thing I can think would be that they shot the scene where Calvin was run down -first-, but maybe the stunt peep didn't break the windshield in the way that they wanted, so they scrapped it (and didn't have funds to try again), and then they shot the rest of the episode with the partially broken windshield... or even simpler: they just bought an old truck to ruin in a future episode and it came partially ruined — which would make sense for "all old trucks have cracked windows and a couple empty oil cans behind the cab seat" :D

Episode 2 talky:

- Walking down the middle of the street with headphones on — great idea! :D
- Why did the writers kill all the black people? (3 for 3)
- wonder who killed the principal ... looters?
- They for cereal left all the food at the school??
- Looks like the barber will stick around, since he's a good actor (Rubén Blades)
- shining a flashlight out of a house window? When is that ever a good idea? Like, even if she didn't know about zombies..
- looks like that car with the luggage was Matt's parents returning from Vegas.. :p

Yeah still thinking the old truck was part of the show's budget limits — windshield was one, then also that riot/protest scene where they had to do close-ups and quick pans to make it seem like lots of crowd and riot Police were around (there were probably only 5 riot suits though)..

Episode 3 talky
- Seriously with the flashlights out the window again? I guess this will keep happening until they get a "28 Days Later" jump scare
- "Someone's inside our house" — could it be because you all left the door open? :|

Seems FWD viewers will just have to deal with this character list being ridiculously stupid for three more episodes. Daniel (the barber), Madison (blonde mom), and Nick (heroin) seem to get it, but Alicia and Chris need so much to die. I do at least like that Martial Law has caught up.. like a little pause before things fall completely apart. And I took Daniel's "it's already too late" to mean that the military presence is more like a noose than real help, though it also illustrates that if you say prophet and vague things a lot, you can pretend that you saw everything coming.

Yeah Madison got mean at the end. I supported the hitting because meow isn't the time for Nick to be lying about his addiction, but it was weird for her to say "Liza. She did this" with an accusatory look at Travis.. because.. even if that was the case with Liza, it's not really a strike against Travis unless Madison goes a little too indirect down the causal chain (like saying that Travis saved his son, therefore his ex-wife tagged along, [break in causality: military arrives, traps everyone together], therefore? Liza seemingly supports the military at cost to Madison's family). Seems far better to blame the military peeps...

Also
- wow Lorenzo Henrie (Chris) can't act
- Dr. Exner kind of connects to Walking Dead because she was in "Air" with Norman Reedus! Also she was in Resident Evil 2 — much zombie
- That Exodus quote makes sense for the ending line that wasn't shown: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
- nice that Alicia found a way to make that heart last :D
- this family doesn't seem to respect door boundaries..
- looks like we get to see a government conspiracy unraveling! Executing live civilians even after the hoards have subsided? Nice! ;D

Episode 5 ("Cobalt") was okay I guess.. :/

Not really sure that Kim Dickens' performance made Madison's acceptance of torture -matter- that much. Like, I get that it's a big thing for her to go from being a guidance counselor (a people helper) to killing her own principal to condoning torture for survival, but Dickens has acted all of those things with the same blank expression (like, "I'm kind of in shock, but let me make cold calculations"). Maybe they're just saving her range or something, but right meow they'll have to save her development via dialogue..

..wonder if the "Cobalt" order will stand given that the Lieutenant seems to be gone. Hopefully the military has gone entirely, so the neighborhood will suddenly just have to deal. Seems like that's why death has happened mostly off screen so far — saving up for a more shocking finale where all the protections have suddenly vanished.

blerg. one more week. then the real show returns! ;D

Not sure if any of these peeps have been particularly likable. Dr. Exner could be cool, and even though I want Alicia to die, I did like her and Chris' "The Destructors" moment (messing up that house), so she has potential (not Chris though; too bad of an actor). For me, atm they could kill everyone in the show except Exner and I wouldn't really care ;p

"(lulz.. watch Exner die in the first five minutes of episode 6)"
I mean.. she might -not- be dead, right? :D
.. yeah okay she's probably dead, and how would she meet up with the group even if she weren't? *fingers crossed* ;)

And they're doing the "Resident Evil 4" boat thing! Or the "Dawn of the Dead" (2004) boat thing (potential safety on the sea, and in DotD a character couldn't get on the boat because he discovered a bite from an earlier attack).

Not much else happening. Seems pretty linear. Was surprised that they didn't kill Ofelia ("yet" anyways; somewhat convenient arm wound), was worried for Nick in the scene with the locked hallway doors, Liza's death was surprisingly effectual (her rushing to do it to protect Chris), and they got their "Dr. Jenner" moment out of the way (they should all know how infection works meow). But still only one facial expression from Madison (Kim Dickens) :p .. and releasing the stadium on the hospital seemed a little too mean for this group (even knowing about "Cobalt"), but maybe they thought that the soldiers could handle it...

..it definitely is better when you watch it all at once; I wish I could stem my zombie love for that long! ;p
..

Kind of a meh season opener — almost immediately regretted purchasing the season pass. I forgot how much I hated Chris Manawa (both the character and the bad actor playing him). I want him to die. So. Much. ..In the show, I mean :p

Actually, everyone should die except maybe..
- Victor Strand (my favorite character right meow; strong and with people smarts)
- Daniel Salazar (I hate his folk wisdom, but at least he's practical)
- Alicia Clark (she's doing absolutely stupid stuff but seems capable of improvement; kind of seems like a future Rosita type)

Ofelia Salazar is sort of under the radar at the moment, but everyone else seems almost too stupid to breathe. Like, seriously, Madison? Allowing a boat of 20 people to board seems like a good idea? The group apparently has to fish to get food for themselves but she thinks they should be charitable?
- Alicia: yeah, good job, give away the group's position. Great :| .. also kind of weird that Victor is allowing anyone to make radio communications at all
- Chris: They seriously have to bring his dead mom on board just to help his psyche? He really does seem to represent all of the stupidities of a modern commoner
- Nick: Jumping in the water? Really? Chris shouldn't have either, but that was ridiculous. I'm surprised that Victor knew to make sure that everyone was on board, because jumping overboard without telling the bridge... great way to die. Have the writers ever been on a boat, like, at all?

So hopefully they're all murdered by these pirates and the bad cast is totally replaced ;D

..kind of wonder about the zombie being distracted by the light coming through the bullet holes. It's established that they're attracted to fire, but it's interesting if they'll totally disregard a person just to gaze at lights..

I do like the possibilities of sea survival.. but I wonder if they'll have to answer questions about air craft carriers having survived. That might be too much for the budget

yeah, it was ok, the swimming part definitely most annoying :p

i'm ok w/ most dying... i like Alicia cause she's pretty :p, and Nick has that Depp thing going on so he's probably safe... the mother & Chris are most annoying to me

Actually an okay episode..
Kind of nice to see how ocean living affected peeps (zombies washing up on shore and the prospect of peeps being exposed to "Viking" landings). The napalming of major cities fills in some information gaps.. but the islanders' story was already better than the boat group — probably not a good sign.
..Otherwise, Chris still hasn't died so that's unfortunate.. and it even seems like his sociopathic zombie killing affinity will protect him :/

Also seems like Alicia's habit of listening to her headphones and not paying attention would be a good way for her to die — it's twice now that she's thought it okay to wander around, oblivious. I'm sure that's commentary on how peeps do that in cities.. terrible idea! Too much going on to block an important sense! Pay attention!! :p

Looks like Strand's real objective might be revealed next episode, because he mentioned that he's supposed to meet this mystery person by "sundown." Maybe he needs a cheap labor force? Hmm..

"seems weird Strand would have business dealings that still are relevant but we'll see i guess :p"

Yeah! I can't even think of how that could work. His having a satellite phone seems to help his coordination efforts, but what?..
- Step 1: recruit heroin hero kid and get stuck with his extended family/group
- Step 2: steal someone's boat
- Step 3: get a bunch of people out to sea, where they have to make rash decisions based on fear.. because of the implication?
- Step 4: ???
- Step 5: Profit! \:D/

@S2-E3

Seems to be improving a bit! Even Chris seems to be pulling it together in his own messed up way. His wandering off wasn't too bright, and the away team's splitting up in general was a show of how sheltered they've been (I'd expect more watchfulness from Daniel Salazar, though!).. but then they had that impressive stand-off hack-a-thon.. and heroin's discovery of zombie-camouflage had a fun twist to it (nice confidence to snarl at a zombie! :D ).

Then back on the boat.. looks like a good call by Strand! That background work showed that the Asian woman killed one or possibly two people just to protect her burn victim.. would not have been nice to keep that kind of crazy around. Hopefully no one attempts to retrieve her with the inflatable boat. And so long as they keep moving for a while, it seems unlikely that they'd run into her again.. probably will, though .. Madison looks ready for some misguided mutiny :/

Optimism building! :D

Oh true :D .. wonder how intentional that was

They also maybe threw in sort of a reference to Prometheus having his liver eaten over and over again (scene where the zombie was trying to eat crabs but the crabs just fell out of his stomach hole). Might also be Tantalus though.. or the gluttons in Dante's Inferno (this last might make more sense, since the gluttons were doomed to endlessly eat and be eaten)..

"the corpse stuck in the intake was the last guy from the yellow raft.."
Defs! :D
I couldn't tell how he was killed.. it looked like he had a head injury even before the knife stab, so she maybe hit him with a paddle, kind of mixing it up a little after stabbing her first boat-mate. Not sure how else they could justify his having died if not by her, though they could redeem her a little by showing that it was an accident or something. Or she'll just kill a couple of the boat party ;)

Yeah they basically just showed that they had absolutely *zero* defense. Strand might have had it together, but of course Daniel pointlessly sabotaged him. Not even sure anymore if Daniel is actually a functional human being. They did all that background on his being soldierly, but it hasn't really paid off for him. Maybe that's his character, though... just sort of washed up :/

+1 on satisfying comeuppance! :D
Chris definitely a sociopath in that scene. Looks like they'll keep that person alive enough to get info on the base/camp?

Accepting their initial failure, it was otherwise a pretty good episode, actually! Two in a row! :D
And they just got some weapons upgrades, so they'll be a little more functional in the future..

Kind of wondering about that opening scene. There was still a light on in that tent camp, and fires were lit in the oil drums (recently evacuated?).. plus that helicopter..

Also weird that the attacking group wouldn't just pilot the big boat back to their "base".. maybe they were hoping to keep the boat a secret so that they could leave behind other peeps in their larger group? But kidnapping might not fit into that..
Maybe they're taking the hostages back to Blackbeard and his Republic of Pirates! ;D

Oh! Totally forgot about her. That's pretty impressive that she was able to remember all of their names so quickly. I guess if you've been floating in a raft all day you'd have time for that sort of memory work ;)

Kind of weird commercial break transition from her hating Travis to her having a heart-to-heart with him... I guess they figured that she was too one-dimensional as a random psycho, but flipping the screen is kind of a silly way to solve that dialogue.

..
"Did I just mess everything up? "
"Yes... yes you did...at least your mother isn't around to see what a failure you've become"

I pretty much said the same thing when he asked that question! :D .. like, yes, stop trying to help, Chris. Or if you want to help, maybe ask someone first and they'll let you know how bad your idea is? :p
I had a similar reaction when Nick was telling Madison to stay so that he could go. In that case: no Nick, she *should* go >:D ..
The group made a pretty miraculous recover with the situation, though.. kind of lucky then that Chris' mistakes paid off, or just clever on the part of the group (kind of like "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" where the group has lots of stuff go wrong but still manages). Have to wonder how many more peeps were in that raider group. Only three for sure alive that were revealed: Alex (castaway person), Vida (pregnant), and Jack (Grieco-type). But since the Abigail boat travels at ultra slow speed, plenty of opportunity for those three to catch up again..

I only just found this out in a Google for Alex' name, but apparently AMC made a 16 minute (1 minute per episode) side series showing how her flight went:
"Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462"

Yeah wow.. he wouldn't kill a zombie to save Madison because she didn't believe his lie? Total psychopath. Not sure how possible it is to teach someone *not* to be that way like his dad hopes (Dexter though?). I do wonder how much of it is just teenager stuff, though.. like, angsty teens can be so embarrassed at being discovered as imperfect that they resort to crazy things to to hide flaws or retroactively fix mistakes.. and in a zombie world maybe that puts murder on the table :/

And probably no benefit of the doubt on his intentions there at the end? Can't imagine he had anything good in mind. Can you think of anything? Like maybe, "oh.. I was just.. getting this knife to.. umm.. *not* murder you in your sleep"?
Anyways he *so* needs to die... pretty dangerous to the group. Otherwise they just need to turn him lose on a zombie hoard to re-focus his issues or something ;)

- Madison's psychological protectivity of her kids is beyond annoying.. like.. challenging a host outright for casually complimenting your kid? She probably wouldn't even let Nick watch TV with the parental controls off ;p
- "I don't want to leave you" :'(
- Glad that Strand didn't Shakespeare.. seems like he did love Abigail, but he probably left an edge for himself (plan to seize power of the estate) just because of his conman thinking :D
- And another farmhouse situation! Neat that Nick wonders more deeply about whether the zombies can think than did the normal Walking Dead cast. But unless the show writers decide to give new insight, he'll probably find the conversations one-sided and have to move on :p

Three's Company sounds the most likely ;D

"since calling her name at first"
That seemed like a "how deeply is she sleeping?" type of thing to me, but because the Chris actor can't act.. kind of difficult to read :/ .. but "like playing w/ knives" may clarify! Just re-watched that scene and he seemed to look at them looking at him and then look at the knife maybe like, "oh, this looks bad, but it's not my intent"? So I think you're right! Maybe he'll get a chance to explain himself to his dad but then Madison will kill Chris anyways.. which might be bad for their post-apocalyptic marriage ;)

I think it's been maybe two months at this point. Kind of difficult to track the actual time, but details like the initial outbreak and riots, military occupation time, Flight 462 (one of the last flights allowed at the power outages; crashed during military occupation?), Alex' dehydration in the raft, the family going to the island, etc.. seems a bit under two months.
The short time may actually make some sense for the corralling thing though.. like they don't quite want to let go of these peeps yet. Kind of parallels the timeline for Hershel's farm too. Not that it's not crazy! It's def crazy :D

that guy still being alive in the crashed plane could be plot hole...

also, not completely crazy to hope there was a cure (like Hershel didn't seem to accept things til he saw how well they could take a bullet)

on the other hand, this woman seems to be aware they are dead and required brain attacked...

"that guy still being alive in the crashed plane could be plot hole..."

Oh yeah! How many days could someone live like that? Even with food and water.. would be a huge stretch

..
"on the other hand, this woman seems to be aware they are dead and required brain attacked..."

Looking up the owl symbolism..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Owl#Native_American_cultures
"the Aztecs and Maya, along with other natives of Mesoamerica, considered the owl a symbol of death and destruction"
"According to the culture of the Hopi, a Uto-Aztec tribe, taboos surround owls, which are associated with sorcery and other evils."
..explains Daniel's throwing away Luis' owl coin.. and sounds like Celia may be a kind of death cult sorceress of the owl. She may see everything like a chance to gain some kind of weird necromancer status.

"Daniel reminds me of Magellanes."

Haven't seen that movie, but based on the description.. Daniel def has some ghosts! I wanted them to show the wall that he was staring at and was hoping that there was at least a window ;p

@S2-E7 ("Shiva"; Mid-Season Finale)
Such a weird ending. Daniel going off the deep end in really messed with the show's sense of reality — very dreamy episode. Also interesting that this show has had almost zero threat of zombies — it's been almost purely people — and it's also been very much a rich person's apocalypse, but I wonder now if they've run out of bourgeois hideaways.. unless Strand has something somewhere..
- Chris really pulling out all the stops for his serial killer attitude.
- Daniel most likely burned alive?
- Celia probably snuck out while Daniel was getting ready to burn everything down? Or she just had an alternate escape from there already..
- Can Celia and Nick still become besties even without the vineyard?
- Or Nick just to live like Michonne among the dead peoples? A general metaphor for his addiction/alienation?

yeah weird, & guess they didn't go w/ the hilarious misunderstanding :p

i was hoping Travis would stab Chris in the head when he was admitting he was just a bad person or whatever

a strange scattering of the cast

i didn't spot any evidence of Celia so hard to say if she's a factor still

She wasn't with the zombies and they showed that the [wine?] cellar had other hallways, but I can't imagine her having much of a role without the house..

"& guess they didn't go w/ the hilarious misunderstanding"

I was hoping! :D .. guess they've taken it to be a given that he was going to murder them. And yeah, kind of surprising that Travis saw Chris about to kill a little boy but was still willing to work with him. Maybe their father-son camping trip will work out ;)

alright finished this shit, so im now up 2 date.

is it just me or is overall quality of season 2 quite subpar. i mean stuff like the dude was fixin the engine of the boat, a dead zombie was stuck under the boat, he removes it, it turns around and attacks him and then poof scene changes in2 something else like wtf?

then strass or whatever his name is, sends the coke addict 2 do his job and he swims like wtf, they were out there at sea for like days. so how the fck r they suddenly so close 2 land.

and speakin of which, wasnt he a coke addict junkie in season 1. like the whole season 2 took place in a few days. i mean he already detoxed himself and is clean already wtf?

and whats wrong with that old mexican guy. so at the end of season 2, those ppl offered them a rood, food, a safe haven, and these ppl returned the favor by burnin down the whole place like wtf.

whats wrong with that little mexican boy. like he was turnin crazy and tried 2 kill his sister. then his dad goes after him and he drew a knife against him? and what does that piece of shit of a "father" do? he chose 2 stay with him. if that was me, i wuldve beaten the fkin crap out of that boy. like who the fck does he think he is tryin 2 stab me with a knife. its quite clear his momma failed 2 teach him some proper respect and manner against yer old man.

like i wuldve beaten him down so bad, he wuldnt be able 2 function properly 4 at least 3-4 months. that shuld teach the boy who is in charge and that he crossed the line.

like wtf who wrote the fkin script.

the kid fkin held a gun against a random kid and he pulled travis knife and tried 2 stab him.

wtf kinda person does it take 2 still act like everythings normal. is travis just a big fkin pussy.
he seems rlly scared at times and shit.

why didnt he slap the lights out of that boy right there and then. he heard the "rumors" about his kid. he chose 2 not believe it up till that point which was fine but when he saw his kid holdin a gun against another kid, like his kid drew his knife and tried 2 stab him...like it didnt cross his mind that all the rumors r true?

but lets talk about the others now. they fkin burned the mansion down after they gave them food, roof and a safe place. what obligation did they had. none. they just took m in coz they culd. and these ppl, the blond woman, the old mexican guy, they tried 2 kill these ppl in return and burn down the whole place? like what kind of ppl r these folks.

The Children

they r backstabbin monsters, thats what they r.
they make the raiders look sane.

why didnt the old mexican guy torture that 1 raider in the boat. that guy was nasty and surely deserved torture.

nope, he wuldnt go there.

but at the mansion, killin is like takin a breath of air 2 him. all those ppl gave them food, safe place, shower, water etc even his daughter wanted 2 stay. but not good enough 4 him. all his childhood dreams and shit, wtf was all that crap about.

what about that episode where they tried 2 steal the guys kids...wtf?

travis seems very reasonable at that point. that blond woman on the other hand. what the fck she was downright batshit. she tried 2 steal some guys kids becoz of what exactly. she felt that the mother deliberately turned the lights on? ok, but they werent being abused and shit. so why u stealin the guys kids.

wtf.

travis looked like the other hand. he told her in the batshit crazy face: u dunt steal some guys kids coz u feel like the kids have no future on that island.

what kind of batshit crazy idea is that.
is that blonde woman going crazy like the mexican guy and the kid with the knife?

The Children

2 me that blonde woman seems very distant whenever she is with new ppl. on that island she seemed extremely uncomfortable hangin out with the woman. like completely fakin it. like she was only there coz they were offerin them food and shit.

same thing in the mansion with cecilia. the moment she arrived there, she was completely ungratefull, dustant and fakin it. even when she talkin 2 cecilia and lyin bout how she wanted 2 learn. then she locks cecilia, tryin 2 kill her lol wtf?

kill her 4 what? coz she offered u a roof and food?

she is the next crazy waitin 2 happen 4 sure. old mexican crazy guy is dead now. hopefully the kid whats his name crhiss? dies soon. and then this blond bitch.

coz damn these r some ungratefull pigs in a post apocalytic world.

So season 2 trivias.

Best moment in S2.
Connor offers steak 2 girl. she was reluctant 2 eat. connor goes away. she takes a bite. decides she wanted 2 eat steak. then pregnant woman steals the steak.

million dollar question
why didnt travis beat the lights out of that boy.

the crazies
why did the old mexican guy tell strass he shuld not bury the dead guy in the ground and try 2 steal his shovel.

"i mean he already detoxed himself and is clean already wtf?"

His heroin detox was mostly in season 1. He now seems to be managing from opportunistically grabbing prescription pills (he probably has a stash from his trip to the plane crash).

..
"and what does that piece of shit of a "father" do? he chose 2 stay with him."

Yeah they seem to really be playing with Travis's (the father's) hope of changing people.. he almost seems like FWD's version of WD's Morgan.. though at least Travis was willing to take the problem away from the group so that only *he* could be harmed by Chris..

..
"and these ppl, the blond woman, the old mexican guy, they tried 2 kill these ppl in return and burn down the whole place?"

Madison's decision to lock Celia in the cellar seems to be because Madison is *way* too protective of her kids and has been resisting changes.. but more simply she might just see it as dangerous to everyone that Celia thinks that the walkers still have some humanity left. Then there's the poison issue... kind of difficult to live in a home with someone who will provide lots of food but who might poison it, put you in the cellar, and be okay with it because they don't believe that you've really died (it may not even be perceived as murder; she killed those parishioners but only saw it as a problem when their *zombie* forms had been killed).

And Daniel has just been going straight crazy. Seems like his PTSD (due to being made a child soldier, essentially; looked like he was a killer for a cartel?) caught up with him in the form of some spiritual paranoia. So yeah, blowing up the whole house was just pure crazy in action.

..
"she tried 2 steal some guys kids becoz of what exactly. she felt that the mother deliberately turned the lights on? ok, but they werent being abused and shit."

I really want to hate her for taking the kids without the father's permission (*two* parents in the picture, so taking the kids because one wanted them gone was just asking for trouble).. but the father really did seem to have a family suicide in mind, so even the uncertainty of the boat might have been better... I think I would probably let the family kill themselves rather than interfere with their custody issues, but whatever.

..
"like completely fakin it."

Totally!! Madison seems dead in the eyes pretty much *all* the time. And she doesn't seem to care about hospitality or being a good guest... also super judgmental and enforces her worldview on others without restraint (god complex?). Still, she might be one of the more practical characters despite showing it in a deranged kind of way.

..
"coz damn these r some ungratefull pigs in a post apocalytic world."

Totes! That's why I think there's a bourgeois angle that the writers have been trying to work. These characters got *really* lucky: being saved by the military, getting to stay in their original home, meeting the rich Strand, getting to travel on a luxury yacht, staying at a fully-staffed vineyard... meanwhile in WD it's been poor people and hicks who had to claw their way up from a rock quarry. It's possible that FWD will be a reversal of that, like a riches to rags instead.. which would mean lots of downfall on the way

@S2-E8 ("Grotesque"; Mid-Season Premiere)

Was that a "No Country for Old Men" reference when the dying man was asking for water while in a car?

Anyways.. Another weird episode :p
..Nick going all the way with being a necromancer.
..It looked like they replaced the actress that played Gloria (Lexi Johnson), Nick's friend who was also in the pilot episode, but I guess she just looked different without blood all over her face ;D

Yeah that was stupid :/ .. Like, okay, you can't pick up your shells. So how about you go back to the jeep and get on with your life? At the moment I suppose we have to assume that because it's a weird, zombie-love area that peeps would get overwhelmed seeing a regular human walking with the dead... but even then...
..Maybe that scene would have worked better if it wasn't an open highway?
