The Children Member	Sat Jan 17 05:44:33 this shit starts real slow...but is slowin gettin better now. then again game of thrones was kinda same. i mean first season was slow as fck untill the starks got arrested 4 treason and shit. and dayum i just rewatched some scene in prometheus and that chinese dude was skinny as shit back then and fat as fck now. the fck did he do. he shuld realize he being an asian actor in a white mens society, there really arent any roles 4 him unless it is asian character. so no matter how hard he pushes himself...he will never be paid and famous as a hollywood actor.

It looks good, great fighting choreography, but the dialog is very rigid, the acting is weak(particularly the guy that plays Marco Polo), much of the plot is cliched and bears little resemblance to the historical story of Marco Polo.
The Children Member	Sun Jan 18 05:21:37 i like so far. sure it is not as good as GoT with all da dragons and white walkers and many more factions. marco polo isnt a historical documentary. this is pure fantasy movie based on some historical characters. marco never learnt kung fu and shit, they just added that in 2 make him more badass coz basically he is a piss poor character in da series. it really about kubilai and sidao fightin eachother. they chose da wrong era though. shuldve been 30 years earlier. that way u wuldve gotten da mongols on 1 front. the jin (northern china), the song (souther china), persia 2 da west, germans+ hungarians = "euros" who lasted all but 1 week...and some other factions like maybe central asians, russians or indians. that way u got like a true game of thrones settin with multiple factions and no marco. wuldve been much better. also dislike about show is how they sometimes skip certain scenes like they take it 4 granted that da audience know what will happen next. like da mongol siege that ended in da butcher. that shit was just told rather than shown. and the assassination attempt by hundred eyes and how he escaped. kinda bullshitty especially when u consider it apparently is one of the most expensive productions around. certainly da plot is kinda dumbed down aswell with achmed being killed over what exactly? and mei ling tryin 2 kill da empress...what 4 exactly? all that being said, this show is severaly dumbed down by da critics though. no way is this shit worth a 3/4 out of 10. i wuldnt say it da best shit out there, but no way is it rotten. i wuld say 7 out of 10. maybe 7.5 out of 10.
