Just got ts. #1 & 2. As soon as I get Pt. 3 I will watch them all at once.

I watched all three yesterday.

They cut some of the unimportant stuff like the cigarette butt and shortened some of the others like the speech, obviously, but they got in the main points.

I was very satisfied except for one thing. At the end they went back after Eddie Willers wheres in the book they left him stranded in the middle of the desert.

I agree 1 and 2 are both wrong. 3 is just as wrong though.

Part 3 made it to Netflix, so I'll probably watch it in the next week or so..
If anything it's been hilarious that they've re-cast and re-scripted for each movie.. almost no character continuity. I'm still pretty convinced that the only way that it can be made successfully is anarchist style; just small-group indy film and not care about copyrights or conflicting vision. My second Cecil B. DeMented reference of today! ;p

CC, I think the reason it was recast for each film had to do with financing. They just didn't have the money to hold the original cast together.

As for the main points, they were there I believe.
